Toasted hazelnuts, cream, ripe peach, baking spice on subued and broad nose
F body, m acidity, brioche, nectarine, needs some verve to buttress the full richness, though finish is pleasingly mineral lime zest, m length.

Restrained and precocious now - would need to try in 2-3 yrs once things mesh

Med gold after just 5 yrs
Smokey and yeasty nose, creme brulee, honey, Bosc pear, hint of earthy Brazil nut and mushroom - heady and plump
Palate has excellent minerality yet - juicy creamed peaches, wet rocks, zesty and intense orchard apple and crunchy green pear. Mineral finish of chalky length

Lots of stuffing and interest here!

Before decant
Nose P intensity of dark currants and spiced black plum, cocoa dust, hit stones,
Palate bright raging m+ acidity, v fine m+ tannin, mocha, dark cherry, leafy green tobacco, graphite, coffee
Focused and linear

After
Nose has eased off into a more savoury territory, intensity mutes, more leafy tobacco, olive aromatics.
Palate remains true, tannins still very grippy

Intense, classy and stylish but without soul.

Clean yet savoury and punchy nose - dried herbs - jasmine?, lemongrass, guava. M int
Perhaps a touch sappy and peach fuzz'ish at first but settles into an intense mix of almond, fennel, black tea, and lemon skin. Pro intensity, f body, fin m. A linear streak of lemony acidity pierces to keep things in check.
Far from the pedestrian bulk Trebb profile found in much of Italy, inspiring version.

Roasted popcorn on first whiff, eases off after a few mins; butter, hazelnut biscuit, white flowers, hint of flinty petrichor, sea spray, creamed peaches, nose
Palate has a lemon rind finish of acidity, vibrant lemon verbena, white peach, brown spices, hint of honey, cream, bergamot, zesty palate but framed roundly, very drinkable, comes alive after a few degrees of warming

Drinks like a chameleon, ever evading my notes. Interesting and extremely rewarding wine.

Deep gold, outrageously concentrated nose - dense honey, toasted cashews, hay, ginger, sultana, and dried pineapple. But finishes with such an aromatic floral lift of acacia and chamomile
Palate showing surprising verve yet, dried pineapple and apricot, honey, marzipan, creme brulee, wet leaves, wood resin. Hint of smokey rock dust. Acid understandbly m- but enough to keep a focus. Finish roasted walnut and burnt caramel.
Insane wine
White
Nose orange blossom, anise, lemon skin, saline
Palate m body but viscous and oily. Touch flabby, lacking some acid bit to even it out. Almond, lemon skin, simple. Abrupt finish

Steely notes of lemongrass, honeysuckle, river stones, hint of salinity. Fuller palate with Asian pear, tangerine, ending pithy and taut
Creme brulee subtle finish

Flinty, smokey (rock dust) nose once aired, orange blossom nutty elements coming through also accompany bergamot, clove, tangerine pith, good intensity.

Palate is ripping lime zest, red apple skin and high acidity, electric. Wet stones, brioche as it warms. Finish lacking.

Awkward and fragmented at this stage

Nectarines, lemon curd, hint of flinty petrichor, white flowers
Palate intense and vibrant, electric white nectarine, meyer lemon backed with a creamy custard base from the age presumably, and a whiff of pie crust. Intensity of acidity quite juicy, overall very vigorous yet balanced, time has done well with this.

Nose of saltines, cashews, golden apple, nectarine.
Cracking and electric apple and stonefruit, pie crust,
Palate creamy with vibrant acidity and wet stone minerality.

Too indiscernible in its focus in tulip glass imo, came alive in flute.

Meyer lemon finish a little abrupt.

Throttles the nose on first pour with dried lilac, barnyard, cedar, woodsmoke, and dried red cherry. Palate holding acid yet, juicy, balsamic crunchy red and Morello cherry. Orange peel, hint of fennel, but incredibly floral violet shows through all. Distinct lack of follow-through with finish, abrupt, talcy.

Wild wine - like a French mistress, pretty but unpredictable

After some time nose lost its primal unhingedness and settled into pretty gracile violets, dark cherries and nutmeg. Palate stayed consistent.

Bristling Flint, hot stones, crushed lilacs, wild grass, and lavender, melon skin nose.
Cereal grain, lemongrass, tangerines, grapefruit pith, earthy mushroom coming on, intense acidity keeping RS at bay but there is lushness to be found.

Finish exuberant - GW says quinine-infused citrus twang and I concur

Vibrant and in a perfect place, speaks
