Absolutely love this wine! Hard to beat the layered nuance of a well made field blend... Sad this was my last bottle

FANTASTIC!! So happy that this was on point.... it had a nice layering of complexity with a hint of oak, with that I’m an old wine structure that is saying “thank you” for letting me out of the bottle, “now let me treat you with something amazing “ - paired with an heirloom tomato and lemon sorbet with pesto and balsamic drizzle & toasted quinoa for a little crunch ... all absolutely delightful

Lean, light and complex ... Very good! Nice balance of musty earth and fruit with slight ribbons of Carmel.

Very good. Fuller bodied and layered with unexpected complexity. A nice blend of fruit and earth and leather and minerality emerged after about 30 minutes in the glass. Very ready to drink.

Earthy and musty on opening, after some time in the glass, the fruit showed up but didn't take over - quite good!

Beautiful wine! Structured and elegant; dried fruits, leather, earth, and minerality all in a harmonious balance. Decanted for about 1.5-2 hours. Still has another 10 years.

Solid 90 point wine. I don't think it's an $80 wine .... $35, yeah but I think I'd go for a Bridesmaid in that price point. Decanted for an hour; not much change from opening. After 2 hours however the fruit seemed to emerge (wife disagrees, she liked it better at first opening). A good wine but somewhat 1 dimensional, perhaps the tannins are a bit too over powering now. It might go another 10, but I'd play it safe and drink before 2022.

Quite good. 3 parts carmel fruit and 1 part bright minerlaity and 1 part dusty earth.

Nice fruit in the nose, however it didn't come through in the taste. Much better with food, not to be consumed alone. Decanted, but perhaps not long enough... A touch bitter and acidic... Did improve with time, let's see how it is tomorrow...Lol.

Silky smooth. Soft fruits and silky tannins

Sweet syrupy and filled with pipe tobacco. Imagine Rombauer filtered through a pipe
