Decanted for around 3 hours. Dark ruby, medium viscosity. Gorgeous perfumed nose: floral & dark fruit, yet without the musty scent of its age. Tasted lighter than expected. Moderate acidity; pleasantly lush & silky mouthfeel; surprisingly smooth and rounded tannins. Tasted of blackcurrant with hints of spice. Lovely, evolving finish which lasted forever. Still very early in its drinking window and will drink well over the next 20 years. WOTN, beating the 2000 Pavillon Rouge de Margaux by a mile.
