Would agree with others. Nice blend of Rhône grapes on this blend. Flavor offers good fruit, cherry and decent nose. Lighter bodied than I would have expected given the Syrah and Mourvèdre based blend. Tart and may have done well with another year or two in the bottle.

Killer Zin. Really distinctive Lodi bottling, jammy berry goodness with hint of herb, and smooth tannin finish on the palate that lingers. Great bottle - drink now!

Lighter bodied Syrah. Flavor packed .org tons of cherry and hint of dusty cocoa. Goes great with BBQ brisket and fixings. Would recommend.

Funky and distinctive. Lots of nose and fruit to enjoy on this bottle, and think it’s matured into some great wine. Very smooth and velvety.

Very good, but I didn’t feel this vintage had the depth and clarity of fruit from the 2014. Might be bottle variation. Not sure. Have two more and have to see how those mature.

Light and sweet. Not bad, but lacked anything distinctive.

Wonderful!! Tasty and light on its feet, but the finish lingers and is so much more than the avg Calif Pinot. Went perfectly with roasted Salmon and pan seared asparagus.

Very light in color and body. A little tartness but there is depth here and persistence on the finish. Good stuff!

Bought this one from Kroger at a significant discount as they were rebuilding their indoor cellar. Was worth trying a true Gaja. That said, it’s not really my cup of tea. Loads of barnyard and farm fields on the nose.. opened up after hour decant and continued to open over couple hours. The fruit was mixed with dried meat and herbs. Second day it tasted a bit better. I can tell this is well made, but had more of a sticky cheese vibe than other Barbareaco’s I’ve tried.

Same as prior TN’s. I do think this is tasting better after it breathes a bit. Lots more fruit and secodary notes. Fleshy Merlot base. Went well with roasted meats.

Again - A wonderful effort from Merry E. Loads of tropical fruit notes and louscious mouthfeel that’s rare in most Calif Sauv Blancs. I do think this vintage has lost a little since our last tasting about a year ago. Would recommend drinking now to enjoy full potency!

Solid effort from Mondavi. The Oakville appellation does not disappoint. Brought considerable fruit and thunder to the Christmas evening dinner. Lovely stuff

Same as prior TN’s - last of a three pack we picked up a my a wine tasting event. Really fun bottle with a traditional Napa California fruit profile. This one makes an excellent Steak pairing.

Big black and blue fruit with candy factory on the nose...while this is a BIG Auzzie Shiraz, the refinement of the alcohol and fruit combi is something special that any wine fan should try at least once. Was happy to share this one with friends, many of which had never experienced this type of wine. Fun!

Agree with general reviews on this bottle. Have had Gaps Crown Vineyard before. This one did not disappoint. Really well made, smooth with ripe round red berry fruit. Lovely stuff which brings the thunder on a long finish.

Really fun Chard. A little marshmallow sweetness, and toasted oak, but not over the top. Was able to pick up on discount for $20 and a this price felt it was a great deal.

Actually a pleasant surprise. Decent Cab profile, lacked any significant character but worthy table wine. Little nose but good taste. Finish is brief.

Loads of wonderful Cab Franc florals on the nose. Cherry blossom and bonn-bonns, some candied cake and baking spice elements. Have yet to have a bad bottle from this winery, and great expression of Washington Brdx blends!

This is a really good blend.. more refined then the typical Bedrock blend. Would pair well with roast pork I think. There’s a lot of secondary flavors there, round black cherry and herb notes.
