Probably drank young.. it was closed for two hours before opening up into a dark fruit bombshell Tempranillo adds some real interesting character to the Syrah.

Haven’t had a bad bottle from Turley’s Amador Cty vines... all been delicious and this was no exception. Wish we had better access in Ohio.

Drank for Rays B-Day. Really great Syrah with meaty funky notes in the nose- continued to open over 3 hours into a very special experience.

This was a real treat! Celebration for a 45 mile ride. The whole party loved it and was the bottle of the evening. Dark and brooding but somehow light on its feet. Plenty of life left in this one, but wouldn’t wait any longer to enjoy.

Agreeing with the general vibe on this. For the price point this Zin still delivers a lot. Not the killer depth from earlier vintages, little hot and sweet, but still young and a better Zin than the masses of funny labeled Zins in store shelves.

Impressive depth from this Syrah blend. Has gained such great fruit presentation. Very little tannin now, and a finish that persists for over a minute, both fruit and cocoa notes... yummy stuff, hard to put down the glass. Too bad Booker so hard to order from. This is a winner!

Deliciously quaff able... deliciously jammy bramble fruit core, with a juicy fruit on the front and nice finish on back end. In a sweet spot now.

Really well made Grenache.. that said, the last bottle of this vintage was better. Recommend drinking now. It’s Grenache and better to drink young.

Expensive- but there’s a lot going on here. More like a Cabernet than Zin. Big and full bodied. Oak and thyme herbal bites mixed with big berry jammy quality. Will try to hold onto the second bottle til fall.

Would agree with others. Nice blend of Rhône grapes on this blend. Flavor offers good fruit, cherry and decent nose. Lighter bodied than I would have expected given the Syrah and Mourvèdre based blend. Tart and may have done well with another year or two in the bottle.

Very good, but I didn’t feel this vintage had the depth and clarity of fruit from the 2014. Might be bottle variation. Not sure. Have two more and have to see how those mature.

Wonderful!! Tasty and light on its feet, but the finish lingers and is so much more than the avg Calif Pinot. Went perfectly with roasted Salmon and pan seared asparagus.
