I agree with Radboy - Orange marmelade, caramel. Apricot jam. Delicious if a bit heavy. Did I say delicious!
Red
Pnp Reticent nose, dark fruit, wood prominent but all in all pretty good. Good QPR.
Red
Pretty darn good especially for the price. Rich fruit - initially cherry, now nice plum, berry surrounded by wood spice, dusty tannins. No off notes - very pleasant. Pnp'd but better after an hour or so. Seems that it can evolve gracefully to something different with tertiary characteristics but really good now. Paired with pizza and salad. Did I say good qpr?
Red
Pnp. Agree with "dark fruit, earth". I think it is complex, medium mouth feel, rich fruit, well balanced, nice tannins. Overall a really good Barbera nicely aged at 10+ years with secondary characteristics. Still has a few years at this level of maturity and could evolve into something more.
Red
17.5% alcohol!? Hot nose, pepper, berry compote, lavender. Big in mouth, decent acids, huge red fruit, red licorice. Well made but just overwhelming.

Annoyingly this is my second attempt at leaving a note. The first note was better :(. Rose, mushroom, a little vegetal on the nose. Nice soft mouth feel, decent acid although fairly low tannins,, red and blue fruit, cherry. Very good Petaluma Gap Pinot - interesting to me since the vineyard is about 20 miles from my home. My first Sojourn and very impressive. The softness on the mid-palate and finish leads me to say "drink up".
White
Pleasant sipping wine with good qpr. Lemon rind, floral, verbena nose. Nice mouth feel with glycerine. Bright flavors, lime zest, melon with good minerality.
Red
Spice, a little reduction, berry fruit on nose. Warm berry fruit, cherry, tea, leather, good acid on the mouth. Nice sourness note to it. Nice complexity of fruit, acid, sweet/sour, tannin. I like it especially at the price point of $24.
Red
Popped and poured out. Unlikeable. As said before, thin, weedy, unfriendly.
Red
2008 Louis Jadot Clos Vougeot Clos Vougeot Grand Cru Pinot Noir (view label images)
Frankly disappointing. Acid, little fruit, little warmth to the wine. Drinkable but only with food. Bad bottle?

Stewed, again. Bought at auction 4 years ago. Must have been stored badly or transported at some point poorly.
Red
A richer 2006. Very similar to my previous note. Cherry, leaves, spice on the nose. Medium body, well structured. Cherry fruit, raspberry, some oak, nice acid on the sour fruit finish. Opened and consumed over 3 hours. The fruit is fading a bit as time moves on. Very good now and maybe 2-3 years at this level.
Red
Nose of sour plum, dry leaves, rose, tar and spice. Big mouth feel, rich fruit, good acid with complexity. Plum, rhubarb, some vegetal, finishes with eucalyptus, tobacco, white pepper and ash, with the tobacco being very prominent. Really interesting, savory, 24 year old that is excellent. Happy to have gotten this 6 months ago.
Red
Pnp. Rich nose of spice, wood, blueberry, plum. Big wine for me but probably medium for a WA Syrahs. Mouth: savory, good fruit, smoke and a little chocolate. Love the mid-palate. Has a brightness and is very good despite the higher abv and extract. Probably at its peak but will keep for a few years more.
Red
Doing well! I was worried that this might be tipping over the edge to portiness or raisin but this bottle tonight was very enjoyable. Nose a bit muted but with some swirling with my hand on top revealed rich boysenberry, forest leaves on the nose. A relatively restrained syrah with good acidity, receding tannins and sufficient fruit. Good blackberry, bramble and briar, sour plum on the mouth. Lovely wine with decent complexity. Probably should be drunk sooner than later but might continue to evolve into a wine with savory/sour fruit/balsamic characteristics (which I enjoy).
Red
Dry, crumbly cork. Used a Durand to successfully open it without difficulty. Found lots of inky dark sludge upon opening. Interesting but not off-putting. Rich, iron, lavender, dry leaf, prune nose. Big bodied and big flavored. Plum, meaty, rust, a little licorice. Good acid. On its downward slope but only just so. Very enjoyable big wine. Haven't had many Paso Robles wines but this is what I thought they would be like.
White
Very enjoyable. Pnp. At first a little disjointed acid, a hint of oxidation. Soon rounded out and came into its own. Lime, stone fruit, citrus zest on finish. Nice warmth to the fruit maintaining its balance and interest with the acid/ mineral quality. Meursault-like to me.

Sadly too much sulphur that did not blow off and carried over to the palate. Something nice was hiding in there but the sulphur made it a struggle to drink Big bummer.
Red
Medium bodied, balanced, black-, boysen-, blue-, berry, briary, flavors. Very good, enjoyable with 2-5 years to go. Hides the 15.1 alcohol well. Great value at $26 at auction.
Red
I'm really happy about this wine. I recently got into WA wines (belatedly) based on an experience with Bionic Frog and God Only Knows this summer. Since then I've been buying mostly Syrahs on the auction market. I've had a couple of Gramercys (enjoyable) but this is the first non-Syrah Gramercy. Simply delicious with years left in its life. Nose of dark red fruit, rose and a little menthol. Soft mouth feel of ripe plum, pomegranate with tea/tobacco on the finish.
Red
From a south facing vineyard outside of Chablis near Chitry. Medium weight, balanced. Cherry, stewed strawberry on nose. Warmth to the cherry, berry fruit on the palate. Very good Bourgogne level - better than most Bourgogne and maybe as good or better than some Côte d'Or village wines. Drinking well now however probably at its plateau. From Pnp but needed about 30 minutes to harmonize. Not very complex (but enough) -enjoyable. A very pleasant surprise from a $24 recent auction purchase.
White
Fresh nose of green apple, bergamot, wet stone. Great acidity and freshness. Good dry (trocken) mouth and finish. 12% alcohol! Citrus, bergamot, verbena, celery on the palate. Very good and definitely has some years to go thanks to the acidity.
Red
Disappointing. Big, almost porty, alcoholic with medicinal fruit. No smoke, bacon, balsamic, pepper that I look for in aged syrah.
Red
Dusty, rose petal, cherry, some spice- cinnamon.
A little murky, excellent smooth velvety mouthfeel. Cherry, dust, cocoa, smooth tannins a touch of bitterness on the finish. Love it.
Has time left but so delicious it must be at its peak.
Red
Cherry, stemmy on nose. Showing good red berry fruit in the mouth. Medium body, good savory-fruit interplay. Had this before 8 months ago the first of 6 bottles and was not impressed due to thin, tart profile. This has the warmth of the berry fruit with some spiciness on the mouth and finish Very good village level for 2011. Will keep for 2-3 years.
Red
As usual with Burgundy Rouge, a little thin, astringent on opening. With air of 30+ minutes, evolved to classic cherry, with rhubarb, leaves on nose. A medium body wine on the acidic side, good bright fruit of berry, cranberry with some drying tannins and leather. Nicely balanced food wine with good fruit to go with the acid/tannins. Definitely has time (3 years?) but a little concerned that the fruit will stand up to the acid and tannins. Very good but lacks the generosity of the fruit. At 90 minutes plus - It continues to evolve positively in the glass although with the acid high notes, so maybe a decant would have brought it in more quickly.
Red
Lightish but surprisingly good at $22 in 2017 and for vintage. Cranberry colored and on the palate (and tea/leather). Berry and spice on the nose. Uncomplicated and very nice. In a good place now and for a couple of years.
White
Mature color and it opened up with air. The first sip is always scary with older Burgundy whites due to Prem-Ox Very good not great but in line with the vintage, vineyard and producer. Clean but mature. Still good acid and fruit framed with some barrel notes and good mouth feel.
White
Floral, stone, mild citrus. Medium body, good acid, some fullness in the mouth. Verbena, lemon grass, loquat. Mineral and citrus pith on the finish. Well made and a good food wine. Seems youthful and good for a few years. Enjoyable.
Red
Garnet, clear, medium weight. Opened without decanting but notes are from about an hour after opening. Cherry, woodspice, raspberry jam on nose. Cherry, nice leather, a little rhubarb, rich red berry fruit in the middle and finish. Velvety mouth feel. A little dry on the finish. In the window and good for a couple of years at this level.
Red
2010 Château des Annereaux Lalande de Pomerol Red Bordeaux Blend (view label images)
Nice fruit and wood driven wine without any Brett or stemminess associated with some value Bordeaux. Good, clean cassis, leather, cedar with some complexity introduced with sour plum and a pleasant, long finish. Very good QPR and good for a few more years at this level.
Red
Savory, sharp, well enough fruited Chassagne-Montrachet Rouge. Rhubarb, unripe strawberry nose. Mouth of pomegranate, raspberry, tea. A little thinnish (like many C-M Rouges) but very enjoyable especially for the $22 price point.
Red
Pnp. Really dark purple youthful color. Nose of blackberry, huckleberry, bacon, smoke. Mouth of black fruit, olive, licorice, savory. Good acid, good tannins still. Has that kind of sour fruitiness that I like. A little heat from the 14.7% alcohol on the finish. Not over the hill but probably at a plateau for a couple more years.
White
Crisp. Fresh. Lemon, pear on nose. Great mouth feel, lemon curd. Good mineral, acid, lemon zest on finish. Still young feeling. Enjoyed it.
Red
Pleasant, lighter style, Chassagne-Montrachet Rouge-like. Good QPR at $24 recently bought at auction. Slight nose of plum, wet leaves. Savory, herbal, barnyard, red berry fruit, cherry drop. Some herbs and licorice on the finish. Interesting enough and a good value.
Red
PnP. Well priced at $32, well aged, bought recently at auction. A little pruney, sour plum, tarry, some floral, tart, savory, rustic, great with pizza. Nice aged Nebbiolo flavor profile that I like (but others may not). Definitely not elegant or feminine - interesting although rustic. Drink up.
Red
Garnet color. Pomegranate, rose on the nose. Cranberry, rhubarb, raspberry, acidity, some dryness of green tobacco and bay leaf. Good Bourgogne level although a bit thinnish. Went well with Potato Leek soup and bread with creamy cheese.

Very dry crumbly cork. It took some effort to extract the cork using various cork screws. Nose: Bacon, pepper, earthy. Body is medium plus. I can feel the alcohol but not too much. Very good acidity. Mouth: Great sour plum, basalmic, sweet/sour interplay, later some green tobacco with a long, sour plummy finish. I brought this recently wanting to try older syrahs. This one was a speculative buy based on the CT drink dates but it is a really still enjoyable wine. Thanks to CPSCHOEFF's review I was inspired to take a chance on buying it and was very pleased.

Very slight nose: fresh, clean, a little floral, white fruit, pear. On the mouth: Honey, verbena, lemon, herbal, nice bitterness on the finish. Medium plus body. Oddly neutral but very drinkable. Kind of comforting like a herbal tea. First time with more than a glass of Gavi. Enjoyable, good, decent but not transcendent.
White
Slight nose: fresh floral, citrus. High acid, mineral. Mouth: Lemon-lime, saline, lemon pith bitterness, stone. Really good with interplay between the acid, bitterness and fruit. Fresh, exciting, very good.

Cork taint. The five other bottles at a 6 person Zoom tasting of Rhone wines were untainted.
White
Excellent QPR for Burgundy. Good saline floral nose. Ripe pear, apple, mineral on a broad palate. Lime and mineral on finish. Stands up to being warm. Overall very good especially for the price.

Stewed. Cooked? Bad storage?
Red
A bit of turbidity. Soft but with decent acids. Nose of cherry, fresh aroma of rose, black tea. Nice cherry, raspberry compôte, soft tannins in the mouth. Good length of a finish of the flavors on the palate. Very nice and well priced. Drink up however.
Red
Probably a bit past its peak due to the sharpish finish. Opened and let it sit for 45 minutes or so. Nose of plum and violets. Full mouth feel of plum, leaves/tobacco and relatively high acids with a cranberry/tannic finish. Better with food. Still enjoyable and good quality. Probably good for a few more years. Updated the CT drinking window, reducing it from 2040. Good +

2004 Château Langoa Barton St. Julien Red Bordeaux Blend (view label images)
Tasted on PnP and it was thinnish, green veggies and ungenerous. I decanted it and gave it a few vigorous swirls. After 1 hour, much bigger and fuller flavors. Slight nose despite big Bordeaux glass, of cedar, currants, tobacco and raspberry compôte. Good fruit of plum, currants, a touch of black licorice, dry tannins. With a long finish of plum, savory tannins and a touch of balsamic. Bright in the mouth with lots of flavor. Very happy with this wine and it is drinking well with the decant. Probably good for 3-5 years with this late middle aged flavor profile.
