Decanted and drank over several hours. Very nice, balanced wine but on the simple side. But I think there's more there that will come out with time. Probably going to buy some more and lay them down. (Loved the 2016 and bought a case+, so I have some history here)

I enjoyed this- a more restrained style. Good value from Garagiste as a Mystery for $20.

A lighter style of Syrah which I really enjoyed. In a good drinking window now.

Took me a long time to get through this 1.5L. It's a nice change from other white wines. Good value at $20 from K&L.

16 is definitely better than the 14, and reasonable value at $14 but wouldn't have bought it if I had tasted it first. Note that I picked up the Acacia Syrah at Grocery Outlet, and that is a great bottle of wine for $6.

Read the comment about "thin", but my impression is that this a Syrah made by a Pinotfile. I enjoyed it for what it is. Clearly much less full-bodied than a Bedrock or a Carlisle Syrah, but very nice for a change. And great value as part of the sampler pack.

Extremely fine sediment that needs to be carefully decanted away. Otherwise, ready to go and good value at $27 from Garagiste.

The Garagiste Mysteries are a crapshoot, and with the Acacias, I lost. But I won with the Angela Abbot. Going to drink these or try to give them away.

Really wanted to be impressed but after a decanting and drinking over several hours was not. Maybe shutdown?

Only 15 minute decant and then drank out of crappy glasses at the restaurant. Next time, hour+ decant & decent glasses!

Decanted for an hour, then poured back into the bottle and drank over several hours. Interesting wine- different grape than I normally drink. Not exciting enough to buy again at $25.

I got a lot of violet on the nose, and then a very restrained Syrah.

Even after a decant on the 2nd night, still not giving much. Going to take the winery's advice and bury these in the cellar.

Very smooth even without a decant. But the first few sips were the best so thinking this has peaked.

Good but the Piper Heidseck NV at the same price was significantly better.

Terrific Pinot and actually slightly preferred it to the Summa Old Vines '13 I had the day before. Wish TRB would be less popular and I could get a case of the Sonoma Coast every year.
