Poured into a decanter for about 15 mins. Wine is tight right now. Probably needs 2+ hours to open up.

A little funky nose just after opening. Decanted and drank slowly over 2 hrs, letting the alcohol blow off. After a bit in the decanter, this one really started to open up. Red and blue fruit on the nose with hints of spice. Palatte explodes with flavors of blueberry, cream and a nice lingering finish. Well done Russell P. From. Slow golf clap from me.

Great first impression. Balance of fruit and tannins not normally seen in a $10 bottle. Finish was medium in length, but very nice. Will buy many more of these for weeknight wine.

2nd bottle of the night. Very simple wine. Thin fruit, lots of alcohol. Wouldn't buy again.

Very decent wine for the money. Typical Italian base level wine that is a little astringent without food to go with.

Really nice effort from Buehler. Nose of dark fruit. Tannins well integrated and smooth on te way down. This bottle didn't last long around the table.

Opened and poured glass# 1. Tasted thin and I was a little disappointed. Very raisiny on the nose. An hour later and glass #2 is MUCH better. Complexities were much more evident. Bright red fruit on the nose.

Pepper and leather on the nose and velvety smooth in the mouth. Tannins have completely integrated, yet the wine still has a good structure.

Nice acid/fruit balance on this one. Floral on the nose, with maybe a touch of candied fruit. Finish is nice and surprisingly long for a $20 something bottle.

Wine is nice and balanced. Creamy texture and blueberry dominate the palate. For low 20's cab, it's an outstanding value.

Drinking at high altitude in Colorado, so it takes a while for wines to open up. First taste is loaded with red fruit (strawberry & cherry). Nose is muted but hints of vanilla. I am willing to bet that after a while, nose opens up to something beautiful.
Dave Phinney is one of my favorite winemakers. I think his D66 is a little better, but this wine is very good.

The wife and I shared this bottle in celebration of paying off the house, so rating and memory of the wine is probably skewed towards the positive.
Very well balanced wine. We noticed the 2nd glass (2 hrs after opening) was better than the first (30 mins after opening). Cathy Corison knows what she's doing.

Not a bad little wine. Has a little complexity, and for the price, it's a good deal. Spicy notes on the finish. Oak and leather on the nose. It's interesting, but not outstanding. It's perfect for a Thursday night, home from work and I want to relax with a couple of glasses and not worry about what it costs me type of wine.
