Youthful looking, no obvious bricking. Spicy cherry nose. Polished cherry, smooth finished. Long finish. Good acidity. Hides its alcohol level well. Not tired but I don't think it will improve with further age. Drink up!

Livid dark red. Sweet sausage & freshly-ground black pepper nose & entry make for a mid-Atlantic Syrah. Bright red fruit that became increasingly sweet as the wine opened up suggests the wine is still somewhat adolescent. Good acidic lift

Still inky dark. Brambly primary fruit faded, but cedary, graphite (albeit toned-down by now) oak very much evident. Good acidic left. Yet another example of an 2001 Okanagan red with long life. Who knows, maybe a few more years of aging may reveal what's behind the oak but i doubt it.

Consistent score & notes from previous tasting. Cab Franc note quite prominent. I am still amazed how ripe/not green this is given the general problematic vintage in the Okanagan
