5/24/19, 6:08 AM - This Barolo a few years ago had an astringent alkaline like taste that many wines have that many people describe as "tight, or needs time." As this aged that goes away to the natural tanins that give it a nice strength and balanced body. From what I recall of this bottle opened in 2019, it was perfect, 20 minutes after opening, and faded to lose the full bodied and full flavor at 3 hours. It was still great just much smoother and less complex. I believe to drink at 20 minutes and finish by three hours.I bought another case, so I will open another soon and test out this 2010. I'll write another comment at that time.
