What a wonderful wine. Nice flavor profile with a touch of pineapple coming in on the finish. Paired with baguette and Snofrisk dill cream cheese just cuz I'm a classy guy!

My new benchmark Bordeaux. Nice Cab notes but so well blended I can barely pick out the other varietals. Slight finish of faint black pepper. Color is so light looks like Grenache, did not need more than 30m decant! I’m new to Bordeaux but now I’m beginning to see what all the fuss is about! Nice to drink a bottle of 20+ years.

Now I understand BdM better. DRY! Very tannic. Unripe fruit. Better with food. Would be interesting to taste high-end producer, then perhaps give it another go. If you love dry reds, this is a nice choice. The wine seems well-crafted. I would probably choose this over a Cali Cab for a pasta pairing or something that required a tannic, structured dry red. I must admit I'm very limited on Italian varietals.

Please note I use a different scale:
82-85-88, different grades of "very good" would buy again
92-95-98, different grades of "stellar" gems of the collection

7/24/17 - Coravin taste. Reminded me of one of my favorite cabs, Jordan, from 10 years ago. Smoky, dark fruit, nice tannin balance. This is a Cab you can count on. Nice that it was ready to drink without the ritual of decanting for 4-8 hours.

Coravin taste. Doesn't taste like CabFranc, did not show well against other Cabs. Very disappointed. Their 2010 CF was a fav.

One of my top 3 PNs but this one, sadly, was past it's prime. I think ideally 5 years from vintage is good for Sea Smoke. Aromas of red fruit still present and you can tell that this was very good a few years ago.

Nose of red fruit is very enjoyable, finishes very dry. A good food wine. Serve cold around 50 F.

Nice nose of delicate fruit, excellent layers of flavors. This is the best Grenache I've ever tasted! Porchable and also great with food.

Probably still a bit young, but opened up nicely and provided amazing classic CA Pinot flavors of cherry and spice. Very food-friendly and top-tier PN.

My favorite Chard! Wonderful layers of flavors carefully balanced with a nice oak finish. Excellent with creamy sauces and seafood dishes. A must-have!

Nose of blackberries and spice, finish features rhubarb and vanilla and is medium-dry.
A nice easy-drinking red. A good value @ $16 / btl.

A wonderful "every day red" that's easy to drink on the front or back porch. Lite tannins, medium acid, nice fruit.

Reviewed CT scale and upgraded my score from 55 to 75. Wine is decent but not to be avoided.

Nice nose, earthy with red fruit. Underwhelmed on tasting, a bit sour on finish with medium-high acid for a PN. Would not buy again.

Nice peach nose, medium acidity, dry finish. One of my favorite value whites for pairing with fish, light apps.

A decent every day SB.
The wine looks straw colored. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like lemon and grapefruit. It tastes like honeydew. The body is light. The wine has medium acidity.
