Really superb. Elegance & depth that i hope is not lost on more recent warmer vintages. Wish i had more of this. Easily outstanding.

Definitely needs food and i would suggest drinking sooner than later, unless you have superb storage conditions. Not a red for the long term.

A little of bottle variation here. Charming and pleasant, but only moderate acidity and lacking some zip. Fruit upfront, but i would not consider this too fruity or jammy by any stretch. Ideal red for hot soup on a cooler fall evening in the Midwest.

Pop & pour. Drinking very well and expressive. Extremely smooth, almost too much so, as i enjoy that underbrush feral side of Pinot Noir.

I enjoy the earthy component of this red. Good easy drinking wine and a great pairing with Chicago deep dish pizza w/pepperoni.

My first Chardonel from Stone Hill under the screw cap. Really like the freshness and acidity in the wine. This is really well done, and i can't say enough about the value & quality of this winery.

Much prefer this over the 2014. More classic Carignane character in the aromatics.

Loads of Citranella, lemon grass & herbal character. This is my 3rd Reynvaan white wine and i have yet to taste any tropical flavors. Very unique, a herbal lemony zest that likely would best pair with white fish.

Tasted at the winery, and was very curious to compare styles between that of Boskydel Vineyards. Personally, i found this superior in many ways. Excellent winemaking brings out the purity in the fruit and balance of acidity. Looking forward to trying more of these in the future!

Agree with some of the previous notes, that this is a larger & riper version than most Carlisle Zin's. Lots of prune, graphite and tar without the fresh fruit that i normally taste. Different vintage, oh well....this wine is what it is, which is a good pairing with a bleu cheese burger.
