Wine was very simple the first night it was drunk, but the second night, after being left open on the counter, was much better- more complex and much smoother. I would recommend decanting if you are going to drink this. Not exactly a Napa Cab, this was definitely a "Central Coast" cab to me. Good, but definitely not great- a midweek wine. Good thing- that's when I had it!

OK, too oaky for my taste, but if you like that kinda thing, you'd probably like it more. I've had worse, for sure. Very creamy, nice fruit under the oak- ripe apple, pear. Vanilla on the nose was dominant.

From winery description: Balanced Tanniin w/big rounded fruit was a great beginning for this vintage. The nose is full of blueberry, Cassis, and blackberry with earthly molasses. The rich velvety fruit picked up in the nose glides across the palate with filling tannin characters of baker's chocolate, seasoned tobacco, and coffee. The finish is big bodied with gripping tannin for a medium length.

I'll look forward to drinking this in a few years. I'd guess 2010-2011 will be prime.

Nice little fruity rose, dry- not white zin-esque. Chilled, it was quite refreshing, good strawberry flavors and a bit of acidity- more than I was expecting for sure. Nothing special, but a good QPR.

Very good, great earthy nose, well rounded fruit flavors. Probably at it's peak, could not see it getting better. 89 points

Nice, very fruity red, good acid. Not a lot of tannin to last a long time, so best drunk on the young side. Got rave reviews at our tasting!

Very nice, good acid/tannin balance at this point, could last a couple more years. Red fruit (I would prefer dark fruit).
