Good but not great Schrader -- an enjoyable wine, but later years clearly show improvement.

Tremendous blend -- the zin stands out but is mellowed by the other varietals. Fantastic wine.

Getting better and better. Needs a little more time but should rival other great vintages of QC.

Big, jammy wine with lots of fruit and oak. A tad too much acidity? Thought it needed to mellow a bit.

Maybe not quite as outstanding as the last bottle of this, but it was a fantastic thanksgiving wine with great flavors. depth and complexity. The finish just lingers.

Fruit starting to open up a bit, though still young and would sit on the rest for a few years.

Much improved from 6 months ago. After 2 hours the wine really started to develop, and had a good medium body, with plenty of tannin and fruit.

Super juiced -- really full of dark fruits with a touch of spice. And definitely what you might call high octane. Not quite as integrated and smooth as many Saxums of late, but still a solid wine.

I don't get it... this is the second completely underwhelming bottle of this I have tried. Very herbal and ordinary, and it did not dramatically improve with air. I recorked with vacuum pump and will try again on night 2.

Very smooth, ripe pinot with no flashes of heat prevelant in so many other CA 07 pinots. A structured, well-integrated wine that is drinking great right now.

Lush front end with velvety mouthfeel -- almost syrah-like and a bit hot, but it benefited greatly from 1-2 hours of air. Give the others a bit more time.

A bit disappointing but I would attribute it to youth -- still needs more time. A couple notches lower than my last tasting of this -- maybe a dead period?

Rich, tropical fruit with pear and honey. A very good chardonnay, but not as strong as some of the best CA chardonnays IMO.
