Emergency bottle as a replacement for a corked Gravonia 14, keeping it casual so Bourgogne it is. Showed very well. Very elegant.

TCA, shame, would have been nice if not corked
Red
Wasn't the best bottle, was OK but not great
White
Opened and drank over 3 hours. Really nice, dry and fresh with great density. Showing well with no sign of maturity.
Red
2005 Villa Saletta Saletta Toscana IGT Red Bordeaux Blend (view label images)
Decanted and served straight away. Much better showing than the last bottle. Really lovely.
Red
Opened 24 hours in advance as standard for CNDP. Smelled rich and heavy on opening, the day of slow ox made the whole difference, fresh, elegant and the perfect pairing for salt marsh lamb shoulder roast. Elegant and long with aromas and flavours of red and black fruits.
Red
Very good. Slow ox 3 hours, in a great spot.
White
Rich and oak still noticeable, last bottle was better integrated. Still good and people liked it but would have been better to wait on this one
White
Excellent, carafe and let it come to temperature. Lovely texture and good touch of bitter at the end. Very food friendly
Red
Drank at Planque in London after a very long lunch that turned into a drinking fest. Decanted and was drank 30 minutes after decanting. Very good from memory
Red
2005 Villa Saletta Saletta Toscana IGT Red Bordeaux Blend (view label images)
Not the best showing but still good
Red
From magnum. Excellent, was one of the standouts at a big lunch which included Chateau Grillet 2014, Krug 166 in magnum, La Turque 2009 amongst others. Wine is in a good place, decanted prior to serving, rich and soft, quite elegant.
Red
Very good but fully mature, don't think it'll get better (based on this particular bottle)

Good, slight toast, little popcorn. Maybe not the best Perrieres but pretty descent
Red
Poured small glass to check the wine and left to slow ox for 6 hours, wow, absolutely excellent. Very mineral. Probably could develop more but amazing now
White
Excellent, more floral and in more need of time than Grandes Gouttes, definitely punches above it's weight

Excellent, top producer entry level wine. Could do with extra cellaring. Tad less complex than Monatine.
White - Sparkling
Absolutely stunning. Did not expect that for a 2003. Cork was so tightly wound in it was a mission to get out, very physical and broke half way through. Wine was super alive and little or no signs of ageing. Would have said 07or 08 if tried blind. Insane
Red
Blackberry and pepper at first, then became very feral. Smoked meat and brett.
Red
Excellent, perfect pairing for cassoulet. Red and black fruit. Very fine. Looking forward to seeking Syrare and Ligure based on tasting Emma
Red
Delicious, flowers, fruit and good substance, alcohol well managed. Drinks well now but no rush, as expected.
White - Sparkling
Absolutely wonderful. Has it all. No wonder people go nuts for these wines...
White - Sparkling
Excellent, very mineral, as expected with clean, fresh and precise Chardonnay fruit from the excellent 2013 vintage. Not mature and has a good long life ahead.

A wow wine, has everything. I know that there are better BDM out there (Stella, Soldera, Cerbiola, etc) but this just showed really well and punched way above it's weight on that night. Very pleased with the result
White - Sparkling
Compared to Pie tome 1, this needs a lot more time in the cellar (or air time after opening). Its nice but doesn't have the layers of complexity yet that are likely to pop up with more cellar ageing. I'd say next in 3 to 5 years?
White - Sparkling
Fresh, lively, really benefited from an hour of air, saline and mineral. A precise wine, no rush to drink
Red
Beautiful and sensual, everyone loved it and it kept changing, I was worried it would be too young but it showed really well, it could have aged longer but it was truly lovely so no regret
White - Sparkling
Absolutely excellent, clean fruit, flowery and a touch of oxydation give this texture. Long mineral finish
Red
Big and fruity but not a fruit bomb and not over the top either, but big and fruity. Has a very long life ahead. Good and nice to share but probably not ideal for just 2 people
Red
2005 Villa Saletta Saletta Toscana IGT Red Bordeaux Blend (view label images)
Excellent, as every bottle has been so far
White
Double decanted, very enjoyable. Rich and complex, mature and fresh, seems this wine is only getting better and better with each tasting...
White
Very reduced, left some of it for the next day, still closed. Insane.

Had tried this with Renato, the winemaker at a dinner end of March 2022, had been very impressed at the texture of this wine, knowing it was his first commercial vintage. This has evolved nicely. I find it shows better after it has been decanted.

Rich and round, the combination of Ambonnay Chardonnay and ripe vintage have produced a delicious wine that has benefited from 3 years in the cellar from purchase.

Excellent and can se its very complex but boy, this is an angry wine. Dark, brooding, maybe would have preferred it younger?

Drinking really well, rich, oily, oxydation adds an extra dimension to this wine. Long finish

Very good, quite rich, enough acidity to keep the balance.

Excellent, still has a long life ahead but drinking well now. Forest floor, cherries and spice. Tannins are firm at first but softening with air. Silky texture. Lovely
White
Absolutely stunning Chardonnay from the Jura. Great texture with lots of preserved lemons and mineral character. Need more of this
Red
Excellent, really delicious spicy PN. A bit like a cross between a Spätburgunder and a Côte De Nuits. Showed well as soon as it was poured but will age gracefully for a few more years. Raspberry nose with floral and spice. Delicious
White
Splash decanted, the glass I had was good. Better on the chilled side. Rich as Chaselas usually is. Good producer, would have again.

Don't know if I'd have again. It was nice but not sure I get the style. High acid mixed with a lot of richness. Reminds me of Condrieu but without the aromatic complexity of Viognier. Also a bit like a white Burgundy but too big to be Chardonnay. A tad confusing and the alcohol is a bit prominent.
Red
Emergency bottle as we needed a red for the food. Splash decanted with an hour of air prior to eating. Excellent and can see that 2013 structure, still a bit firm but very promising. The aromas are very classic, floral, tar, plum and orange peel. Lovely
