Great wine that went down a little too easy. A well made classic cab, maybe on the lighter side but not your typical paso fruity alcoholic bomb. It has a beautiful dark red color and nice fruit on the nose like cherry and currant. Medium bodied with great mouthfeel and acid it was a pleasure to drink, especially with the moderate alcohol. Well integrated at this point with fine tannins, light oak flavor and a fairly long dusty finish.

More of a CA style pinot. Medium bodied, dark color, fruit forward, cherry and alcohol on the nose. Some brown sugar and spice comes through as well. This wine tastes HOT with lots of candied dark fruit and good acid. Not really getting anything else. It's definitely tasty just not super interesting. This is not a young wine but some air did help this calm down a bit so either decant or lay it down longer.

Decanted briefly. Looks beautiful, dark purple but clear. Just a little sediment. On the nose I get blueberries, herbs, and floral notes. No alcohol detected. Tasting it at first it is quite acidic and dry. Not too fruity, decent but not crazy tannins, light oak. Good structure but the finish is kind of short. With food this really came alive. Because it is more old-world style with high acidity it really cut through and cleansed the palate.
Solid well made interesting wine that has lots of potential, it just needs some more time to come together.

Fake fruit, smokey. Not as good as the 06, or the 05 even.

The riesling really comes through on the nose. It's fruity and floral and seems like it would be sweet, but it isn't. Peaches and citrus and flowers, good balance and acidity. It's pretty crisp but at the same time the chardonnay gives this good body and the finish is so creamy and delicious. (Not to be confused with buttery.) There is no oak or cat pee or grass in this. No heat either, just good easy drinking wine with a hint of sweetness.

Not a complex wine but tasty and fun. Ruby red color, lightly sparkling, rose petals and strawberries on the nose. Tastes fairly sweet but not cloying, a little flabby because it lacks enough acidity to hold it up, nice finish. A little more expensive than rosa regale but not sure it's better.

Yes other people own this stuff and I am glad we do! Gary was right on with this. Deep dark red color. Tons of black fruit and flowers on the nose. Tastes so juicy but not a fruit bomb, rose petals and violets forever, nice light spice on the finish and some back-end tannins, solid acidity. Great new/old world play. This almost reminds me of a petite sirah with less tannins. Great balance and structure right now but will last a while.

Unbelievable how much life this still has left. Most of the fruit is gone but it's still there in the background, kind of pruney on the nose but not the palate, light wood taste, no tannins, decent acidity, light bricking, kind of thin and a quick finish but acceptable at this point.

Thin and light bodied. Some fruit and light oak on the nose. Nice fruit taste, good acid, slightly bitter/spicy but not tannic. Overall pretty balanced and smooth and a decent finish. Great with food, especially Italian. Might get even better with some age but drinking well now.

Enjoyed this wine a lot. It's really coming together in the bottle now, great fruit, smooth tannins, light oak, good balance, decent finish. Decanted for 1 hour and had it with steak, perfect.

Great rose. Nice floral nose with a touch of honey. Good body, nice medium to dark color, slightly off dry. Absolutely superb finish, very long with tons of strawberry flavor.

Not too much on the nose, some alcohol and dark fruit. Nice firm up front tannins on the palate with some nondescript fruits, body is a little thin, and I don't get any oak. Medium finish.

One of the better rosés I've had recently. Watermelon color and nose. More watermelon, strawberry on the palate. Nicely balanced, slightly off-dry, good acidity. Great mid palate and decent finish. Good food wine.

Poured into a decanter. Beautiful deep dark red color. Alcohol, berries, dark fruit, cocoa and earthiness on the nose. Entry is kind of thin, mildly acidic but not tannic. Mid palate is soft and balanced but not much else. Finish is excellent: medium to long, spicy, some fruit, nice light tannins which are well integrated. The finish also finally shows some of the alcohol but without the heat. This wine is right between old world and new world. Balanced and smooth, good structure, good food wine, but it has some fruit, and some alcohol which it hides well. It did get better as it sat in the decanter, and I bet if 1-2 years in the bottle will benefit this wine.

Pretty light, dry, a little fruity but not much. I think it's getting a little too late for this vintage, sounds like it had more going for it last year.

Interesting wine. Light bodied but good color. On the nose: some menthol, wet wood, a little smoke, not much fruit and not oaky. On the palate: light to medium mouthfeel, upfront tannins which fade quickly, lots of smokey bacon and spice. Finish is medium length and spicy. If I had this blind I would guess syrah, not cab.
