Unbelievable! Gorgeous with a
Long life ahead. Starting to brown in the bottle.
Honey, apricots, orange peel and a hint of tobacco/smoke. The finish was ethereal. We thought a 750 mL was too much for 6 people, but that turned out to be false. Enjoy.

On this night, this bottle was firing on all cylinders.
Typical floral Margaux nose with dark cherry and raspberry bouquet.
I could have simply sniffed it in my glass all night long but could not resist putting it to my lips. Ethereal. Cedar, cigar, cherry and complex. Beautifully integrated tannins. I have enjoyed many Chateau Margaux vintages dating as far back as 1934 and this is probably in my top 3 from this producer.
Drink or hold. You won't be disappointed either way.

Sour cherry, earth, cardamom and licorice. Soft integrated tannins. No decant. Tasty from bottle and improved over 1-2 hours in the bottle and glass. Very food friendly.

This is a brute. I should have read more reviews before just splash decanting initially. A bruiser CdP with dark fruit, boysenberry and tobacco.
Black licorise and spice on the nose. Repeats on the palate. Better after a couple hours in the decanter but I will hold my remaining bottles for 5 or more years. Needs time but will pay dividends eventually. Hold.

Cassis, lovely violet, cedar and black cherry. Long finish with velvety tannins. As close to perfection as possible. Drink or hold. It still has plenty of life, but hard to resist right now. I'd hold my last bottle for another 5 years.

OMG! Right out of the gate this was singing. This wine is in it's sweet spot and will be for the next few years. Beautifully textured with harmonious fruit and tannins. The finish is extraordinary.

Deep garnet with no bricking. Perfect cork with only staining on the bottom. Beautiful nose with cassis, violet, truffles and a hint of cedar.
Dark fruit on the palate with excellent mouth coating mid palate and silky smooth tannins. Excellent length (45 sec) and lingering fruitiness.
Margaux typificity and a drinkable '95.

Bought on release. Temp/humidity controlled. Dark red with no bricking. Nose of black cherry and red fruit. Floral notes, spice and a hint of raisin. Resonates on the palate with great fruit and massive tannins. Extremly dry. Long finish with lovely mid palate.
Excellent now, but in need of 5 or more years of cellaring.

Fabulous QPR. Bouquet of plum, cassis and cigar. Repeated on the palate with a hint of chocolate and mocha. Wish I had bought more based on price and quality. Drink now and for 3-5 more years.
