Fully enjoying the mouthfeels voluptuous micro bubbles. The unfiltered aspects are prominent and perfect for tinny pours on a summer evening.

A sophisticated easy drinker. Balanced and beautiful! Rusty/ruby in color, decent legs, no sediment, light scent, soft on the palate and full on the flavor with a long soothing finish.

Very likable, masculine, well balanced acidity and fruit... Had this side by side with a 97' grand cru, interesting pair up. It made a very amzing grand cru a bit sweet for me. First world problems ;) I would drink this again for sure.

Blind tasting, two hour decant, twas very closed at first (chilled) hard to guess, I got the decade right. After 30-40 mins of sipping and swirling this opened up wide with very complexed spices, sour notes, candied figs, the flavor is still changing. Must put my phone down and drink more wine now.

Day one, thick chocolate on the nose and flavors of blackberry & sweet corn with a tight backbone. Day two gained complexity, pleasant oak and noticeable vanilla.

Day three...sweet gold raisins, molasses candied plums, dark cherry, and fig swirl every corner this experience. Busting of a chocolate caramel flavor that reminds me of Storck Chocolate Reisens. A naughty and entertaining wine, well blended for pleasure. Every sip leaves my palate smiling...or more of a grin. The finish carries all qualities as it fades from back to front and drifts off into a night air. Wish I still had some 07 left to compare it with. This is entirely too easy to drink and by far my favorite naughty wine of the year. Oh yes!

Day three...opening up with pure sweetness! Blackberry, cherry, blue berry pie filling and light mineral on the nose. Outer edges of the glass shine ruby red with a royal purple center. The front palate is a bit uptight for me, graphite and young berries, juicy in the back with a pleasant, even fading, soft jammy finish that leaves me reaching for another sip. I'm not the biggest bordeaux fan to walk the earth, but this is how I like it. Looking forward to trying this again next year.

Marvelous!! Being fairly new to the wine scene but really digging it thus far…an emotional moment, for me this is 100. Young but bursting from the vines with years of wisdom. I’m so thankful to have 5 more in my possession. Seductive mouth feel, elegant nose, mouthwatering velvety dark swirling fruits on so many levels. Well done Thomas Brown and Mother Nature! The stars were aligned with this one…a pinnacle to be measured by for some time.

Day one after a 12 hour decant, nice velvety texture, ripe red fruit 92-93. Day two, palate changing by the hour, complexities dancing around a grape jolly rancher, mouth smacking flavor. Excellent!

Excellent, everything I love about a malbec! Fruity nose, and bursting with full and complex ripe fruit flavor, without going overboard.

Thick and bold ripe fruit. All the big attributes are bursting in harmony on decanted day two. Much improved from day one; "in your face" messy with oak and big ripe fruit flavors battling for attention.

My first dessert wine experience...a wonderful honey and pear nectar, paired well on day one with Stiliton blue cheese. Day two, pefect for sipping by the pool side.

Based off past experiences I don't usually have high expectations from a gifted bottle. However, Schulz Syrah was a pleasant surprise. Spicy ripe plum and sweet toasted earth on the nose. Balanced subtle complexities explode up front with a jammy blueberry/raspberry mocha. A touch of smoke on the mid-palate with a velvety texture and dusty tight finish.
