Dinner at Gesche & Mario (Gesche's & Mario's place): Easy to drink. In the nose apricot, yellow fruits and a hint of coconut.

On the palate nothing special. Dry, well integrated acidity. Not complex. Short length.

Dinner at Sarah & Benni (Sarah's and Benni's place): Nice wine. Really needs to breathe. Creamy texture. Full-bodied. Had the wine together with Entrecote.

Nice Weissburgunder (Pinot Blanc). Not something special, but nicely made. Dry, light wine with well integrated acid, considerable minerality and a hint of fruits (green apple, apricot). Smell and taste coincidince well. Would definitely buy again. Looking forward to more comments on this wine.

Had this wine for cooking coq au vin blanc. Not so good for drinking. In the nose a little bit of peach and apricot. Flat taste. Acid is not well integrated. Looking forward to more comments on this wine.

General: Australia, McLaren Vale, Mollydooker --> well known for wines with high alcohol content.

Look: Light yellow with some green reflexions.

Smell: Floral Notes, pinapple, green pepper.

Taste: Dry, very alcoholic, low accidity.

Conclusion: Although technically ok, the wine has too much alcohol, is monotonic and is unbalanced. Moreover the price (approx. 18 EUR) is not reasonable. I prefer the reds from Mollydooker. Won't buy again.
