11/21/19, 10:07 PM - Spoil sport!
11/21/19, 12:54 PM - Agreed. WA gives it 95+
12/18/18, 3:40 PM - Trying to think back... I'd give a couple hours in a decanter, or maybe 4 hours in an open bottle.
10/20/18, 10:53 AM - So, why the high rating?
9/28/18, 6:45 PM - Rating is way out of sync with review! Please check rating scale.
4/14/17, 12:06 PM - But this was a 2012! :-)
10/18/16, 7:00 PM - I don't remember how I prepped this bottle. Most likely PnP, no decant, and drunk over several hours, perhaps saved some into the following day.
5/20/16, 2:50 PM - I think folks are jumping on the Suckling (who I trust about as far as I could throw him) bandwagon with this one, and there must be reason prices are dropping on it. Thanks to your review and a couple others, I'm passing.
3/7/16, 10:51 PM - Thanks for the comment... I should have figured a higher elevation Ribbon Ridge pinot would be on the lean side. I'll take your advice and give my remaining bottle a few more years. I'm finding many of the '12 pinots dumb right now and I'm looking forward to the '14s as well, and I'll be sure to try your Whistling Ridge bottling. I'm fond of the nearby Bryce Vineyard pinots.
1/8/15, 11:28 PM - arthrovine, I think this is probably in its prime now, although your magnum may have a few more years of life. My recollection is that it's a soft, rich and luscious wine but not overly complex with secondaries.
6/22/14, 6:31 PM - Glad you like it, since I'm saving a few bottles too. I've collected wine from this vineyard since the 2003 vintage, when Bryce Bagnall was making it.
2/2/12, 12:56 PM - This rating seems out of line, especially since you also rated it 92 on the same day. Also out of line based on the consensus.
Thanks for letting us know about this problem. We will review your comments and be in touch soon with an update.
