7/25/22, 5:32 AM - No I got it out from wine cooler about 2 hours ahead. Opened bottle about 15 minutes before trying used a glass pour aerator to put in glasses. After 45 minutes wine was better I wanted to try wine. I think it will definitely improve but it was great I visited Pontet Canet in 2008 with 6 others They flew the American flag for us. On April 30, 2012 I attended a dinner in DC that featured 10 years of the wine. 2001-2010. Wonderful experience The 2015 ranks well

The wine seemed young. Dark. Had with marinated lamb chops. Great match. Had paired with a Cote de Baleau 2015. Tasted as young as that. Lamb really brought out the wine and its complexity. Wish I had another.

5/11/21, 4:38 PM - I agree I wish I had opened up 3 hours earlier. I had about 5 ounces left in bottle and had tonight. Really good body. Filled mouth. Balanced. Delicious.

Loved this wine. Had with 7 hour lamb. The wine was very full bodied. Big. Lovely fruits. Dark. Drinking well now. I enjoyed two 2009 Chateau Beaucastel this year but this was even better

Had blind with two 2009 Cabernets. One from California and one from Washington State. I immediately decided my favorite. Had great nose. Lucious in mouth. Went well with Standing Rib Roast. Ready to drink. Wow

12/18/19, 10:34 AM - My friend who did this tasting does not believe in opening and decanting for hours. I believe he opened at 5:15 and wine was poured into different wine bottle (so bottles all same). From there poured into our glasses - 2 1/2 ounce pours at 6:15. We tried wines starting at 6:45. The Washington State winery was Andrew Will
