Too dry and acidic for me. Edit. Really grew on me. Think green apples and honey.

Lovely Crianza. We had the magnum size, from Naked. Great QPR (~£18). Decanted then back in the bottle and left to breath for 24 hrs. great with lamb shin stew, and by itself.

Nice quaffable medium Malbec fromMajestic. £4.99 mix six price, minus 10% for using code CHOCOLATE40, minus another 2.3% when going through Topcashback, so £3.08/bottle - bargain. Nice & juicy medium dark fruits with medium spice.

Nice juicy fruits. More spice the earlier opened, more mellow with airing & time (drank the 2nd half two days after double decanting)
The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry, black currant (cassis) and black pepper. It tastes like blackberry, blueberry and black currant (cassis). The body is medium. The wine has juicy texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low acidity.

Really enjoyed a couple of bottles at Zizzi. Great buy itself after only 15 mins from opening. Very accessible. Will look to source for sure.

Very juicy accessible big red.
The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are snail-slow. There is no sediment in the bottle I'm reviewing. It smells like blackberry, blueberry, black currant (cassis) and raisin. The body is medium/full. The wine has round texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low acidity.

Intense dark jammy berries from the cork and throughout. Had me gagging for some accompanying chocolate such was its luscious voluptuous smoothness. Don't misunderstand - it's not heavy. Rather, medium and ready now.

Tannins need time to burn off (triple decanted through a Menu, then rest for an hour at least), then it's big smooth dark fruits with a becoming medium spice edge.

A little young (sharp) when just opened and on it's own, but lovely with a nice beef stew. Opened another and aired for a while and it opened up well.

Dinner guests really liked this Pinot Gris (I'm a red man mainly)

On the nose there are ripe berries such as blueberry and cherry. Silky on the palate where the dark fruits make way for a little lighter red fruits & plum. The finish is about 20 seconds and melts away. In summary, a very smooth Merlot and one I shall be seeking more of.

Served at 8°C. It was crisp, light, clean, with a light lingering aftertaste. I'm a red man usually (many whites give me heartburn) but thought I'd give this white 'Rioja' a try. One of the best out-of-my-comfort-zone wine decisions I have made.
