Brought to CBCC for dinner with friends. Large viscosity immediately on the tongue with a fruit bowl of flavors. At the start and through the mid palette there is Blackberry fruit, lots of cassis, and tobacco leaf, the wine is huge and lush in the fruit category. Creamy, velvety, smooth on the mid palette and finish. One of the absolutely most balanced wines I have ever had. Acidity present, tannin present and fruit present, this wine delivers the full package.

The Finish reveals graphite flavors. WOW is the word here. Blew away the wine field by a long stretch. I forget just how valuable the Scarecrows are. I think I paid for this bottle $350 and they are really in a league way above that.
