Overall, we thought the wine was still very young. Will not open another bottle for another 5+ years (at least). Think this could easily age 15-20 years. Decanted for 2 hours before dinner. Alcohol was a little aggressive right out of the gate, but softened up as the night went on. Paired perfectly with steak and that helped to cut the alcohol in the wine. The nose on the wine was beautiful. I thought the wine was well balanced and not overly oaked. The decanting helped to soften up the tannins in the wine. Lots of dark fruit notes like blackberry and black cherry. Loved the wine, but need to let it age!
