Grootse wijn, uur te voren gedecanteerd (is nodig)

boerse neus, provenciaalse kruiden

Intense with ripe fruit flavours that recalls plums.
The full taste given by the roundness of Canaiolo along with the dry and persistent taste of Sangiovese make this wine harmonic and one of the most pleasant of the wine-making panorama.

Blend Percentage: Sangiovese 85%; Canaiolo 15%

Caractère : Véritable vin de plaisir pour les gourmets. Le nez évoque des arômes de poire et de prune en passant par les fleurs blanches avec des notes de brioche et de fenouil. Moelleux fondu, puissant, harmonieux et généreux.

This Amarone-style wine from Argentina (partially dried grapes) shows unmistakable raisined fruit character in a clean, floral and almost elegant expression; really fine concentration and complexity. The palate is full, firm, with structure-giving tannins, juicy acid, terrific fruit extract, and added complexity from cedary-tarry wood spice. Alcohol is high, but balanced by flavour intensity. This would be a fun one to throw in blind for the Amarone tasting and watch it beat up on wines twice the price.

My first though was a barnyard smell, and afther a sip: green olives and some pepper. It has acidity and the tannins were well balanced.
my first guess was Bourgogne.

Powerful minerality on the nose; notes of cordite and crushed rocks. Beautiful palate; balanced yet rich, honeyed, but showing that super stony, rocky minerality found on the nose. Apricots, cream, notes of pineapple and citrus. Shows grip and structure too. Pretty impressive length. Wonderful. Drinking now, but should be fine for a decade in the cellar at least. 18/20

Simply stunning; a breathtaking nose, exhibiting a rarely encountered finesse, an elegant intertwining of mineral character and exotic aroma. Such balance on the palate. There is great structure, a wonderful depth of fruit and fine botrytis. Despite such opulent richness this wine still possesses great verve and elegance. Finishes with a delightful, honeycomb finish. This is exceptional. 19.5+/20

Earth, tar, and tobacco and some black pepper on both the nose and palate, afther some time the fruit will show. In the nose its still hot from the alcohol. will be better in a couple of years

A deep yet vibrant scarlet-pink. Strawberries and vanilla pod on the nose, with a leafy edge. A firm mousse, with redcurrants and nettles, presented in a deliciously dry style. There is a slightly bitter streak to it which I like, and fine acidity. It even lingers a little on the finish.
