Bubbles and Wine Amsterdam Red Bordeaux flight. Fading but present red fruits, low alcohol...maybe 11%? Pretty good for 54yrs

Great bottle. Black fruits, nice balance, great minerality...and great value from Booker. If this was Napa and not Paso Robles it would cost 5x what it does.

I love the Big Pour. Never too serious but still delivers the goods. Dark fruit aromas, red fruits on the pallete, well integrated tannins. It might get a little better with some age but this is a wine to drink now.

PnP first impression extracted, second...lifeless. Not a lot of fruit, no acid very little tannins. Meh.

100% Nerello Mascalese. Floral notes, rose petals. Light garnet, medium bodied, fruity, fine tannins, very little acidity.

Fruit-forward, pure, smooth tannins, black fruits, medium-bodied. Alcohol heat that dissipated after an hour or so of air. Will be interesting to see where this goes in a few years. Outstanding.

Opened considerably after about 3 hours of air. Black fruits, smooth tannins and balanced acidity. It's in a great spot right now. Drink up. Loved it.

Maybe a bad bottle but overwhelming vegetative nose. Tannins and acidity in balance but can't get past the green pepper taste.

Not as good as the last bottle I had, maybe slightly past its prime? Felt muted compared to the 2010 Shafer Relentless tasted alongside.

Outstanding wine in its prime. Tasted by side by side with 1994 Insignia and this was the clear winner.

Despite being 20+ years old could benefit from another decade of cellaring. Massively tannic, a huge wine with loads of smooth ripe fruit. Certainly enjoyable but not yet at it's prime.

2 hour decant. Despite being 42 years old this bottle still had years of life left. Dark fruits, full bodied and perfectly integrated tannins. Tasted alongside 1985 Dunn Howell Mountain, 1995 Araujo Eisele and 1995 Shafer Hillside Select, the Martha's didn't give an inch to its younger competition. More dynamic than the Dunn and more balanced than either of the 95s.

30 minute decant at a restaurant, needed more time in the bottle or a longer decant. Will likely improve with time.

The 2011 was 100% Malbec, the 2012 is 60% Malbec, 40% Cab Franc, not a change for the better. Very bland, flat wine. Drink now, unlikely to get better.

Two hour decant. Balanced tannins and acids but ever so slightly thin. Not too many years left for this one. Drink now.
