2/7/24, 10:08 AM - Really lovely wine. Does it still available?
2/7/24, 10:38 AM - I bought 2 bottles in 2017 also for about 90 nis (~23 eur) everyone. But finished them immediately.
2/7/24, 10:11 AM - Unfortunately St Emilion is more powerful now, even in cooler years.
12/31/23, 11:59 AM - Thank you, Have a Great 2024 Year. What are you drinking tonight?
12/31/23, 12:28 PM - Likely estate. I tasted 2015 and bought this year 2020.
12/6/23, 10:14 AM - Sounds impressive, I need look for it in our stores.
11/27/23, 10:38 AM - Yes, probably it is best Cahors that I drank.
11/14/23, 10:21 AM - Yes, really likely Malbec by realistic price and very impressive.
11/1/23, 3:58 AM - It 13.5% abv, lovely level. This is a second wine of Cantenac Brown, for earlier drinking and slightly lighter in style. In any case it is excellent wine, delicate and very enjoyable. I bought it for 180 nis (about 40+ euro).
10/20/23, 11:06 AM - Really great wine, one of last vintages produced by Bruno. Now his daughter runs the estate.
10/3/23, 4:53 AM - I remember this wine of previous vintages. Very nice Cahors. Bought two weeks ago Vignobles Pelvillain Cahors Desiderius of 2018. Are you familiar with it?
8/5/23, 4:48 AM - Gorgeous wine but I think higher alcohol affected the elegance of 2010 Seleccion Especial.
6/1/23, 10:28 AM - I bought it in 2018 for 245 nis (about 60 euros). Gorgeous wine but I think that 2010 should be better. 2010 is outstanding vintage. I am not sure that it's Burgundian style, it's tasting as Classical Rioja, has typical for La rioja Alta balsamic notes and impressive fruitiness, sure oak completely integrated in this age.
5/15/23, 11:17 AM - It isn't too high 14%
4/29/23, 7:31 AM - Gorgeous wine, I bought half case in release year and still keeping 3 bottles.
4/29/23, 8:04 AM - We also have nice weather now, slightly above 20 after hot week.
3/17/23, 11:52 AM - Lovely estate, I have its Brunello of 14 and 15
3/17/23, 11:45 AM - I think global global warming. In some years we'll wait years as 2014 or 2011 or 2008 like miracle to get more delicate wines.I have some bottles of 2018 and 2019 but think it's to early open them.
3/3/23, 6:24 AM - Not found Clos La Coutale in our stores but just bought Chateau de Chambert Grand Vin 2014, still not opened. What are you think about it?
3/3/23, 11:13 AM - Thanks, I'll write when open.
2/25/23, 12:41 AM - Yes, very lovely. I have one bottle more of this one and want to age it longer, open it in some years. Actually, 16 was really great vintage in Toscana, most of wines that I tasted were very good or excellent. I'd recommend also Grattamacco Bolgheri Rosso.
1/20/23, 11:35 AM - Yes, lovely. Never disappoints.
12/31/22, 9:44 AM - Inspiring your notes bought it but 2018 and still not opened yet. Have opened today Latour a Pomerol of 2008 and was very impressing.Have great New Year.
12/29/22, 10:54 AM - Lovely wine, I tasted it in 2019 during Bordeaux visit and still remember it.
12/9/22, 11:36 AM - I like Malbec also, I need search Clos La Coutale in our stores.
10/27/22, 11:21 AM - We still have close to 30 deg and whites more suitable.
10/28/22, 12:05 AM - Drank last week nice Arneis of Montezemolo.
10/27/22, 11:19 AM - Lovely wine, sure young now and requires long aeration, wanted to keep it some years but was so enjoyable and almost finished half case.
10/18/22, 9:47 PM - Great vintage in Toscana, isn't it? I decided to store some wines including Brunello of Carpineto.
10/19/22, 10:30 PM - Brunello is local clone of Sangiovese in Montalcino, synonyms of Sangiovese Grosso.
10/18/22, 9:42 PM - Really remarkable wine, absolutely best Chateauneuf that I drank.
8/22/22, 10:27 PM - I bought half case following your impressive notes. Good wine, typical for La Rioja Alta balsamic background and intense fruitiness. You are right, lower alcohol level should benefit it. Apparently we have to get used to overall alcohol rising.
7/30/22, 9:43 PM - Yes, Antinori never disappoints.
7/7/22, 11:19 AM - Really nice wine, a bit high alcohol but not loses balance and enjoyable to grilled and spicy meat.
7/3/22, 8:55 PM - Agree with you, this one is excellent wine and in early mature state, as well as the producer. Always stable and never disappoints.
6/25/22, 10:16 PM - I drank two bottles during three days. One from them was ready but second is still developing.
6/25/22, 10:12 PM - Good notes, fine wine isn't it. This wine never disappoints, I tasted 2001, 2005 and 2006 - all were excellent.
5/7/22, 4:46 AM - Sounds classical Haut-Medoc. In our stores already hard to find 2016. 2017 still available and some 2018 already here.
5/7/22, 4:41 AM - It was my first La Tour-Martillac but so enjoyable. Already bought 2018
4/29/22, 12:28 PM - Sorry, sure I have this wine but still haven't opened it and haven't written about it. Probably you meant Nastagio of 2012 that I recommended to drink since 2021 during 7 years.
4/28/22, 3:03 AM - Lovely, long lasting wine. I tasted 2008 and 2009, they also were excellent.
4/20/22, 3:29 AM - Sounds nice wine. Does it still available for sale?
4/17/22, 8:25 AM - Sorry it was mistake in rating, 2015 was not good vintage but Forest isn't so bad. Now correcting this. There isn't sense to rate wines below 65 points. I bought it in release year in 2019.Today was 36 deg - the first heat wave this year. Just came back from Clos de Gat. Tomorrow I'll begin to write.
4/8/22, 11:48 PM - Excellent notes, really very succeed wine and should improve with some years aging.
4/9/22, 1:19 AM - I am planned visit some wineries. Probably Clos de Gat or Sphera.
4/9/22, 2:39 AM - Sphera is whites only winery. Its flagship is Signature, usually Bordeaux blend. It has also the range of varietal - best is Riesling.Clos de Gat is remarkable winery. The flagship is Sycra, has two labels, one made from Merlot and second Syrah. Also good Bordeaux blend Ayalon and value Har'El of three labels (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah). The its white Chardonnay is close to oaky Californian style. Chanson (White and red) is for earlier drinking.
3/18/22, 11:37 AM - Really remarkable wine of excellent vintage, I bought two bottles in release year. One tasted in 2013 and second yesterday but it should be enjoyable ten years more or so.
3/3/22, 4:10 AM - Really lovely producer w/o cost extremes. I have one bottle 2017. Are you think worth to keep some years? 2013 and 2014 will enjoyable till end of the decade by my opinion.
2/6/22, 9:23 AM - Excellent notes. Really impressive wine. I bought half case last year and expected that will cellar some bottles some years but it was so enjoyable that I couldn't wait.
1/23/22, 5:09 AM - Inspiring to buy notes. Yah, wonderful vintage providing harmony, balances of blue fruits and acidity as well as reasonable alcohol level.
12/31/21, 4:23 AM - Great notes, excellent wine - really enjoyable and not expensive.Happy New Year, have all your dreams become true.
12/23/21, 10:09 AM - Exactly, very impressive and enjoyable wine
12/23/21, 10:06 AM - Really brilliant wine for its price. Actually the vintage was succeed for many estates from Catalonia to Basque country and from Navara to Galicia. Have great Holidays too.
12/5/21, 9:40 AM - The vintage really was underrated.
10/29/21, 10:53 AM - Really great and harmonious wine. I keep last bottle, want to taste it in more developed age.
10/16/21, 6:28 AM - Yes, really lovely Chablis's vintage, even better than 2014. Try it, if 2015 still in stock.
10/9/21, 9:57 PM - Thanks, very informative. I like this producer many years already and buy every time when see it in stores.
10/2/21, 10:50 AM - I agree with you that some Barbarescos able to age longer than 20 years but not this one in spite remarkable vintage (sure if we are talking about pick window). I had two bottles of it. First I have drank in 2018 when released and according its developing I think that a risk of its degradation is very high in seven years, especially bottled in regular format. Probably Magnum or larger will prolong age time. Cheers
