Could use more time in the cellar. Loads of complex flavor that will evolve more over time. Hints of orange, rich berries.

Surprisingly inoffensive and very drinkable for a sweet red. A good substitute for Port

rich and dark flavorful wine, lots of sediment. More intense and fruity than I'd expect from an Italian wine. Overall outstandingly delicious.

Feels like a Pinot + Zin hybrid, with the flavor (dark fruit, mild pencil lead) of a Zin but the moutfeel and food friendliness of a Pinot. Smells amazing, like raspberries and rose petals. Finish is short but nice, doesn't have the intense alcohol burn or heavy tannins of some Zins. Just right and enjoyable.

Exceptional white wine. Crisp and clean but with some complex undertones of acid, fruit, and oak (not overpowering). Well balanced.

Awesome. Big rich flavors... dense serious fruit and earth. Very food friendly and versatile. Some cocoa undertones but mostly ripe jammy dark fruits. Even better as it opens.

Amazing. It is a great value at $23 a bottle, tastes far more complex and expensive than that. Explosive black fruits and forest flavors on open and a nice dry classic California Zin finish. Can I bathe in this wine?

Wow. Decanted this for about an hour, then drank with a delicious medium rare steak. Smells musty and old, definitely has aroma characteristics of a Brunello. The nose also reminded me of linens that have been stored away in a closet for a long time...so interesting! The taste is outstandingly complex....dark and rich aged fruits, pencil lead, blackberries. The lingering finish brings to mind chocolate syrup and molasses. Love the tannins. I wish I had another bottle to open!

Not mindblowing, but the price ($6) cannot be beat!! I can't name another $6 wine that is as good... up there with Borsao Garnacha for best QPR under $10 wines.

Delicious. Quite good QPR, a simple new world drinking wine. Good alone or with food. Bright tart cherry without too much acid. Smooth finish with light tannins.

For a $10 Pinot, this cannot be beat. Pinot tends to have a fairly cheap tasting flavor when you get anything that comes under $15 or even $20. This has no signs of that, only a distinct red fruit taste that improves upon opening. Better with food.

Bought as part of "end of vintage" sale. Was very worried this wine would be past it's prime, but it was incredible. Extremely dark and rich. Pure ripe fruit with leathery tannins. Great with food and on its own, the highlight of the meal.

Nice woodsy aroma like a damp forest floor. with fresh blackberries and mild vegetal tones. Really tart bright cherry open that is deceptive as it becomes more classic lively California Cabernet on the finish with dark fruits and leathery tannins.

Not everything I love about Muscats, heavy on the orange, but still very enjoyable. Great mixer for cocktails and fantastic with chocolate orange cake dessert. Tastes a LOT like juice... nice, but again not exactly Muscat-like. Prefer their Black Muscat hands down.

An explosively ripe nose of black cherry and raspberry. Intense jammy candy aroma with a smooth well-balanced moutfeel. Acidic but not too intense, in fact... avoid pairing with overly tangy Italian dishes that might standardly go well with Chianti. Palate is full of red fruits and light herbs.

Smells like coffee and chocolate, with a bit of cinnamon French toast. So well balanced = not too tannic or acidic, not too jammy. Dry, slight earth, red fruits and cocoa, gets better as it opens.

For $8, WOW... drinkable, rustic. Sure it's simple, and smells like moldy bath water but the black currant explosion on your palate is well worth the price tag. Try with dark chocolate for some magic. And how can you not love the fact that the bottle comes with a little bull charm :)
