Medium purple color. Red and dark berries, rose petal, minerals on the nose. Smooth and easy drinking, notes of blackberries, bacon fat, minerals. Medium tannins, medium high acid. Pop n pour with aerator. Really nice QPR for casual enjoyment.

Nose of smoke, minerals and dark fruit. Dark and red fruits, soft lush mouthfeel, blackberries, raspberry, bacon, rich and complex. Decanted 1 hour. No distinct Walla Walla rocks funk as is usual from this vineyard. A bargain price for a small batch Matt Reynvaan wine. Wish I had purchased more.

Interesting Rhone style white blend that definitely gives you a bit of “sting”. Full bodied and flavorful, high acidity with medium sweetness. Green apple and pear, minerals and white pepper on finish.

Black cherry, vanilla on nose. Jammy sweet fruit, high acid, medium tannins, short harsh finish. Did not improve over an hour in the glass. Not complex, simple, not for me, even at $10 Costco sale price. Might pair ok wirh a burger or pizza. Update: Day 2 more quaffable, the harsh finish has diminished and the acid not as pronounced.

Dark Purple, Blackberry and Black Cherry on nose. Dense black fruits, cocoa, medium to high acid with integrated tannins, nicely balanced. Higher alcohol but does not interfere with the smooth lush mouthfeel. Decanted 1 hour, light sediment.

Slightly better than many mass produced Cabs but at a higher price point. There are better values out there. Considering this is a secondary Long Shadows label, I expected more.
