Really wonderful sweet wine with great yellow fruit aromatics and a full botrytis nose. Consumed this bottle over a week stored in the fridge and it got better each day.

Super thick older Zin. Pulled from my cold cellar still seems somewhat closed and youthful though showing the aged character of a sixteen year old wine. Who knows where it will go? Dark purple in color with bricking at the rim. Compressed nose of blackberry fruit and cedar/menthol aromatics. Dense and tannic in the mouth with a very firm presence. I'd say give it another five years but that's of course iffy with a CA Zin...
