90 is probably conservative since we had after cocktails - big and smooth - expected it to be hot given the abv but not bad - wife really liked it with rack of lamb

very nice - bummer it was only a half bottle. Medium bouquet, typical Sineann ripe fruit, decent backbone and reasonably balanced. Despite alcohol I didn't think it was hot. Great with filet and plain steamed veggies.

opened and poured - a little better after 15 min in glass; a decent wine with Cajun shrimp, but agree with other note on the decline of the fruit.

pop n pour, not long out of chiller, while making dinner - decided to wait a bit since it seemed closed; later it was gave impression of fullness (great fruit to Sineann standard), with backbone, but didn't seem fully integrated. Still, very enjoyable with Tri-tip and Asparagus. I'm thinking a few years at least until the next bottle (2 left) as I liked it, but not sure it's there yet.

Took about 1.5 hours from the time it was brought out of chiller, decanted - sat in decanter on table - before it reached steady state. Opened up after initial funk blew off, was good with a Morton's steak grilled at home, but just slightly harsh on finish. Nothing particularly special, but it was a more than ok, certainly fine, mature wine.

Decanted through mesh (lots of sediment), directly from storage (56 degrees) - needed over an hour plus before it got going - really enjoyed it after it opened up, though seemed a little thin and past prime

This was a nice wine and my wife agreed. Raspberries/Blackberries on nose, medium light in mouth, nicely integrated with good balance. Finish is initially abrupt but aftertaste is very pleasant and there is a subtle linger for 20+ that is pleasing. Finesse and not showy. If anything the flaw(?) is a lack of distinction - tomorrow it will be a pleasant memory without detail.

Works and decent value, though I prefer other choices in the $7-$10 range. Almost there, but just not integrated enough. 85 is probably a little bit of kindness but it completmented ground sirloin well.

Really yummy - great berries and dark fruit with enough backbone - should be fine for a couple of years I'd guess.

Smoke and twigs on the nose with only faint fuit essence; tastes of earth and leather, altogether a bit too bitter and the aftertaste a bit too astringent on medium length - so boney and without fruit there's not a lot here to remind of very good 04 and 05. Problem bottle?

Decanted for 30 min; fruit is somewhat cooked; tobacco on the finish and slightly spicey. Ok but seems past prime (never had before so hard to compare)

I like the mouth-feel -> smooth but not annoying. Some complexity but not really depth. Nice medium clean finish. This would be a perfect picnic wine; priced right at $15

Fruit has seriously decayed; as this came to room temp finish became a little ragged and harsh

Opened and poured - after 15 in glass this had interesting earthy black fruit notes; came across a bit hot but overall fun zin with typical zin fruit and pepper notes and unique but nice washington terroir; seemed a bit young

Less fruit than previous, probably since a little cold and did not decant; still great with grilled tritip and potatoes.

I thought this wine was fantastic - we opened at just over cellar temp and did not decant. We drank it slowly over the course of 3 hours with dinner and desert. The wine really opened when in the glass and warmed a bit - veggy (cucumber) and herbal notes along with dark fruit on the nose. I loved the balance and while keeping key zin notes like plum fruit and white peppar hint on finish I thought it had unsual depth and integration with other earth and sweet elements; medium-long finish.

Really nice and fun to drink with appetizers; dark fruit and nice spice zing - the tannin balance appealed to me. Probably not a long lived wine, but very good now

Clearly fruit forward - almost like there's been some addition of juice from freshly crushed grapes - long finish. The vanilla is there with light spice. I found it mostly one-dimensional and too shallow - however it's the kind of bottle you open 2nd or 3rd at a bbq and everyone is happy with it.

Enjoyable, a bit thin for me, but seems akin to the few other cheap riojas I’ve had – pleasant overall. Licorice on the nose, a bit too tart for me at end and over finish – worse on day two. I would only pop and pour if I had again – this joins my pizza wine list.

Disappointing after last bottle a few months ago. Fruit is lacking now - this bottle certainly not interesting, but ok; hope it's variant and next is better.

Penultimate tail-gate wine - works in the guilty pleasure sort of way. For $8 at Costco you'll see it with my hot dogs, chips and salsa now and again through the summer.

A little closed right out of the bottle - decant and room temp improved markedly. This appears to need some cellar time yet. Nice level of fruit, forward but not excessive. My biggest problem was the flavor progression - decent finish but ended for me on a tar note. Decent for $15.
