Really exceptional wine considering the price. A true gem from Argentina. Medium body and acidity and plenty of fruit, especially melon.

In a very Robert Parker way, gobbles and gobbles of fruit and chocolate. A really powerfully expression of Napa. Needs several hours of decanting to open up, but when it does OMG it’s wine heaven.

Despite the 15% alcohol it does not feel heavy, tannins and acidity are medium. Very dry. Soft fruit and some earthen flavors. Very balanced after 3 hours in the decanter. Does not feel such a young wine. Quality is very similar to Calicanto and fair for the price. This is probably the best wine I have had from Brazil so Kudos, but current comparisons to great old world wines are nothing more that wishful thinking.

Probably one of the best Quality / Price you can get from Argentina. Made by Michael Roland is a very modern wine. Very full bodied, smooth tannins and medium acidity. Not super dry, lots of fruits, elegant creamy wood. Super easy to drink. Had it at the same time as as an Angelica Zapata and it was far better. Don’t buy the Catena, get the Val the Flores, it’s a much better wine.

Best EPU I have ever tasted. This was very robust, with round tannins a lively acidity. Fruit and wood in great harmony. We had this wine at the same time as the Don Melchor 2016. Although I usually find the Don a
better wine, this time the 2015 Epu held its own. It was a real tie. The Epu was slightly more robust and took longer to open whereas the Don was a bit more elegant, but both were equally complex.

Lighter than usual for a Malbec and specially for one as modern as Nosotros typically is. Soft tannins and Vibrant acidity May make it a good food wine. Plenty of fruit, wood is present but not overwhelming. More in the elegant Than the fruit bomb side. May need a few more years to better integrate.

Typical Nebbiolo. Fantastic quality. Reached its best after 8 hours in the decanter. If you want to drink it for dinner, open after lunch.

Fantastic CPQ. Much better and cheaper than Epu (the second wine of Almaviva). Very modern, mediu-full body, super smooth tannins and light acidity. Lots of fruit and wood, but still keeps the typical Chilean wine flavors. Despite being only four years old I feel it’s totally drinkable and very pleasant at this point.

My fiar experience with aged California Pinot. Still quite pleasant, but seem to be past its prime. Fruit is not as dominant anymore and earth flavors are quite easy to taste. Still one of my favorite brands of Cali Pinot.

Very full body, super smooth tannins, light acidity. This is a bomb fruit that retains some elegance, plenty of wood that’s very pleasant. At USD 27 or offer incredible quality for the price. It could easily cost twice as much and would still be a good deal. The production is very small. If you get your hands on it don’t pass it up.

Typical Napa! Full body, smooth tannins, low acidity! Plenty of fruit and some earth flavors. Great quality for the price.

Full body, smoother tannins and acidity than what you’d expect for a Barolo ao young. Thoroughly modern and easy to drink. Leikely to improve with age, but can be Galileu drunk right now with a couple of hours decant.

Full body, medium taninns and acidity, smooth and very well integrated. Medium long finish. Lots of fruit, some coffee and creamy vanilla! Delicious! Among the best Malbec I have ever tasted. Fully modern, but none of the flaws one might typically associate with the style such as too much wood or over extraction.

Unremarkable Merlot. Medium body, some aceitou and a little red fruit. Nothing to brag about, but drinkable if you have nothing else to resort to.

Highly disappointing and probably the biggest scam in the wine industry. While a pleasant wine in itself, it’s by no means worth the USD 250,00 it costs. It should sell in the USD 50,00 range for the quality offered. If you can spend that kind of money and want to experience something truly great from Portugal get yourself a Quinta do Crasto Vinha Maria Teresa 2011. Hell, an aged Chryseia 2006 should cost less than 100 and is a much better wine (had both at the same time).

Médium body, lively but round Tannins, pleasant and vibrant acidity, medium long finish. Strong fruit, pleasant wood, some expresso and chocolate, a bit of mint. Great middle ground between the typical Cali fruit bomb (wich I love) and the elegance of the typical Bordeaux. Great quality for the price.
