Wine was relatively flat, lacking acidity. Hoping this was bottle variation as this was a disappointment.

I’m generally not a fan of Le Moine’s reds. His “style” seems to supercede terroir.

With that caveat, this wine needed at least another decade IMO. I should have read reviews prior to opening.

Everything you’d want in a Village wine and great value.
Nose was very expressive and at 1er Cru level IMHO.

I will buy more.

Absolutely beautiful wine. Color was spot on with minimal oxidation. Nose was gorgeous.

Classy wine.

Entering a really nice stage. Great spice nose with beginning tertiary notes. Very happy with this bottle.

Nice nose. 07 was more drinkable and 06 Mouline was best of three. All were too young. 5-10 more years needed.

Underwhelmed with this wine. Very young for sure but nose was muted and fruit was lite.

Not a fan but will see what my other bottle turns into in 5-7 years.

Nose was typical of the vineyard and improved over an hour. That said, this bottle needed another 10 years. Maybe a 92 potential with time.

Decided to check in on these bottles. Tertiary notes are just beginning to evolve so I will Open next bottle in 4 years.

Plenty of backbone.

Yes, too young but really good. Had 7 Montrachets tonight and it finished second to a 2013 Ramonet. Consensus was that it was best Montrachet for the money.

Nose opened up after 45 minutes. Less tannic than many 02 Grand Crus and consensus was that's its entering a drinking window with long life ahead.

Stood up well in a CSJ, Malconsorts, Amoureuses lineup. Drinking nicely with softer tannins with minimal tertiary development. In s nice place if you like lots of fruit.

Decanted for an hour. Improved in glass over next hour. Lots of brown spice and fruit. Hasn’t developed tertiary characteristics yet.

Will Drink next bottle in 3-5 years. Very enjoyable. In second tier of 8 RSVs behind DRC.

Best bottle of this wine I've had. It's in a really nice place with beautiful nose. Color was great too. No premox. Exactly where it is supposed to be.

This is what encourages me to buy white burgundy and age it a bit despite the ocassional disappointments.

With a long life ahead of it, aromas changed in the glass over 3 hours. A bit of medicinal funk blew off quickly yielding to mineral and pear. A glorious wine that one person described after a few hours as pineapple upside down cake crime brûlée. A real treat paired with 2001 La Tache at Atlas burgundy dinner.
