Rich and creamy mouthfeel. Traditional RRV dark cherry and slight funk.

Barnyard flavors backed off a bit and came into balance after being decanted for 2 hours. Earth, chocolate, dark fruit, kirsch, leather, and fine tannins. An excellent wine for a special evening.

Nice cassis, blackberry, dark fruits. Pronounced tannins but not out of balance. Evolved nicely over 2 hours

This reminds me why Donum is one of my favorites. Deep, dark and complex without being over the top. Must decant. First sip after opening was basic dark almost stewed cherry and some heat, but after 2 hours in the decanter everything came into balance and it really opened up. What an enjoyable wine and at a really good spot right now.

Delicate but still complex. Darker fruit and nice spice both in the nose and palate with just the right amount of acid to keep me coming back for more. The nose on day 2 was addictive, a great wine to just sit back tucked in the couch and smell.
