Utterly uninteresting Napa cab in $35-40 range. You can pickup Napa Cab Sauv at a supermarket or Costco and get the same drinking satisfaction; sure the flavor profile won't be the same but this is about as middle of the road won't-often-anyone as it gets.

Save up and spurge on an $80 bottle or take a chance on 4 $10 bottles, either case will result in a more interesting experience.

Just to clear I do not hate this wine.

1/16/15, 9:27 AM - I should have specified that the spurge and experiment is not limited to cabs. What I wanted to convey is for the price of 2 of these bottles you can should get a killer wine (cab or otherwise) but 4 $10 cabs would almost be disastrous. The 4 x $10 experiment would be Chilean, Argentinian, Spanish, and South African reds. Yes 3 out of 4 or even 7 out of 8 will be unmemorable but 1 should be (academically) interesting.
