Still drinking well, consistent with previous notes. Consumed my last bottle.

Didn’t read my own tasting notes, so PnP without decanting. Plenty of sediment so it was a bit gritty. Fruit has definitely faded, still good acidity and a bit tannic.

Dark red to purple color; no signs of browning. Wonderful fruit and spice on the nose, so typical Bordeaux. Palate is initially currants and black cherry. Tannins are quite drying mid-palate, but the finish is long with notes of leather, >30 seconds.

Plum, blackberry, and licorice are the dominant notes. Upon opening, this is a bit rough and hot. This dissipated somewhat after an hour in the glass, but still hot (15.5% ABV). I had this with vegetarian chili, and I agree with the reviewer who said that this wine craves meat.

I agree with KVM—ripe red fruits but light and elegant on the palate. Maybe a note of green tea? Nice QPR.

Compared to previous notes, this time I find medium richness / mouth feel. More subtle fruit notes on the palate than your typical CdR, not at all “in your face”. Drinks well now but might age well over the next few years. More than an early-drinking vin de table.

Very solid CdR and good value at this price point. Still a bit young; more expressive on the second night.

Very typical aromas of Grenache. Body is a bit light but flavors are nicely balanced. There were quite a bit of tartrate crystals at the bottom of the bottle.

Drinking very well now. Tannins are not as prevalent. Still enough cherry, tobacco, and herbal notes to be interesting and complex.

Nose is dark berries. On the palate, black cherry, raspberry, and a bit of olive on the medium long finish. Quite dense and rich mouthfeel.

Pale to medium straw color. Pear and citrus nose. Crisp acidity early and mid-palate, but it is not as noticeable on the med-long finish which is tropical with an herbal character I can’t quite identify. (Label refers to “nettles” but I’ve never tasted them.) Very dry with some mineral character. A distinctive quality wine. Served with acorn squash curry.

Purchased at the tasting room. This was my favorite of the tasting and it held up at home. Herbal notes on the nose. On the palate, lemony with minerally finish. Bone dry. Very enjoyable and went well with frittata of prosciutto, spinach, caramelized onions, and gruyere.

Blauweiss notes capture it well. Initially loads of fruit on the nose. Cherries and earthy on the palate with very rich mouthfeel. Well balanced with good acidity up front on refined tannins on the finish.

Med (+) ruby in color. Entry is sweetish raspberry and vanilla. The oak/vanilla dominate the finish. This is very fruit-forward rather than a briary style. Medium finish. Good quality at this price point.
