- Garnet color with medium forming legs - This wine is so average and very over priced for
what it is.

Haven't had this wine in while and my recollection of drinking wasn't all that great. This is a decent wine...not great. Nice nose and taste..but not very long in the finish.

This note is a day old in writing so a bit more difficult. Read a note by "duchamp" which I though hit on the nose. This wne has enough refinement for an old world style, but also enough fruit to make any napaphile happy. We were given this as a gift...wish I had bougth a put down a case. Awesome wine.

This wine has aged well. Opened and decanted about 2 hours before drinking with a nice roast dinner. Deep ruby color and tannins nicely tamed. Hints of coffee, tobacco and leather.

Twine is big, but very young. Decanted for about 3 hours and needed a couple of hours more to really open up. This was my 2nd tasting of this wine (my first at the vineyard). After this started to open up, it tasted more as I remembered...a big beautiful cab. Nuances of coffe and cocoa. I will save the last bottle for a long time...it willl only get MUCH better.

This wine has held up very well. Still consider this to be a very good value for the money.

Opened this wine and began drinking almost immediately. Haven't had this vingtage since tasting at the vineyard last May. As young as this wine is, it is tasing great right now, but will definitely get better with age.

Decanted for about 2 hours before we drank. This was an exceptional pinot..very silky smooth..decent nose, floral; good fruit on the palate.

for the price....buy it and enjoy. Nothing sophisticated, but a very enjoyable wine. Raspberry fruit to me on the palate.

Had this a couple of days ago...so notes will be skimpy. Chris A was given this as a "comp" for a bad hotel reservation....the wine reflected the service on the rooom...it was really lacking. I kept trying to like this as theere were "sneak" peeks of great taste and then they just faded to another "flabby" pinot. My first experience with this vineyard and not impresed with the wine..but will give a shot again.

I was extremely disappointed in this wine....have had other vintages...don't remember which at the moment...but that is beside the point. This wind had an ok nose...decent fruit...but on the palate was tart and what I would describe as almost bitter. I wondered if this wine wasn't a flawed bottle...but it doesn't give that impression...just an awful vintage. I would try another vintage in the future becauase I have had decent bottles in the past....NOT this vintage!

Decanted and drank over the next couple of hours. First tasting of this wine so no comparisons to other vintages. We enjoyed this wine...had nice balance. I would guess this wine will do with a bit more aging.

Our first tasting of Rochioli Pinot and we enjoyed a lot. I always know we've hit a good wine..pinot especially when we both look at each other and just nod...recognizing what a good wine it is. Good nose...very good fruit and a very nice finish.

Good every day cab. I like this cab in the price range. Ok nose, dark color and nice viscosity. Palate was good fruit. Not long on taste. Had after 24 hours and opened a little better even. All in all....great to have around to pop and pour.

I'm glad my expectations were not very high....not impressed with this wine. A very simple wine that seems sort of bitter. I don't get the feeling time is going to help this wine much, if at all.

Decent cab at this age, although to be honest, I expected more. Still seems to need some time. Unlike other notes, I think this anything but thin. Dark in color, texture taste etc. Strong sense of smoky oak on the palate, overlaying blackberry?

Nice every day Shiraz from Aus. As a previous reviewer noted...very dark and inky in appearance. Ok nose, fruit forward on the palate and ok finish. This is not overwhelming...but nice for everyday. I was pleased to note that this aussie did not display the usual alcohol burn although I didn't check the level. I would recommend decanting...or saving for a little bit...I am drinking the second day and much better than the first.

My first experience with this cab and I like a lot..especially for the price. I decanted, but am enjoying right after opeing and finding this to be very silky and the feeling that this will age tremendously. Will buy more to put down for a bit and am anxious to see how it opens up.

very good quality to price pinot. Saw an earlier note that hits this on the head. More Cali than Oregon, but good...especially at the price. The glass enclosure was also our first and worked great! Did not decant this wine. Pop and pour. I finished the last of this bottle tonight after opening two nights ago. The wined opened up nicedly and the glass stopper was awesome!

Very pleasantly suprised by this bottle. Pop and pour with no decanting. First, this is much better than the last vintage which I found to be very flat. This immediately opened up with nice cherry and vanilla notes. Very nice finish.

We opened this and drank immediately without decanting. This wine has a very impressive nose, at least for the "heavy" style of pinot that I enjoy. Full bodied and well balanced. A bit of aging and/or decanting should help. A nice new find, but trying to decide if it is worth the price.

This wine perplexes me. The nose is very light to almost nonb-existent. on the palate, there is very heavy oakiness about this wine overlayed by a lot of fruit. One taste pleases me and the next seems to say....what the ? Overall, better wines are available in this price range.

I have decided in a very short time period of writing the abover note that the predominance of this wine is....and will be the oakiness. Too much for me. I dropped the original rating of 86 to 84. Don't buy again!

This wine might be higher....too early to tell. Picked up a bottle at the winery today and enjoying tonight. Always love the boldness of Darioush. This is a bit tight yet. Didn't allow time to decant which should help tremendously.

Great funky Pinot Noir nose and taste! For the price, this is a great CA Pinot Noir...we left it open overnight and it got better!
Nice muted fruit behind a mushroom overlay palate. Definately a good value CA Pinot Noir.

Absolutely beautiful nose once it opened up! You need to decant this one. It continued to unfold during the meal and it definately needs food! ... a typical earthy fruity barolo but actual layers that made it worth the price!

Big fruity, jammy Aussie shiraz. Although the alchohol content is high, I think it is a pretty well balanced wine and good finish. Would buy again.

This wine has both a very nice nose and is robust on the palate. Although Goldeneye is a very good pinot; migrations seems to me to be a VERY worthy quality-to-price bargain. Really liked this pinot.

A great "funky" PN! Needs some air! Nice mushroom overlay on the palate with a berry finish. It'smedium bodied (for a PN) and a pretty good value. It is a young wine...a couple of years in the bottle should really do the trick.

Nice but light. Crisp, raspberry flavor. A mineral ( almost "tin") finish that blows it a bit. Missing the nice Pinot Noir funk.

I opened and decanted this wine about 3 hours in advance of drinking to allow it open up (I was concerned after how tight this wine was a couple of years ago after purchasing). The wine has a nice nose, but is not overly aromatic. On the palate, nice fruit, raisins, blackberry. Decent finish. This wine has aged rather well. Very tight when first purchased.
