Blend of 50% Kangun (native to Armenia), 40% Chardonnay and 10% Viognier. Straw, light yellow in color. Lemon peel, citrus and floral nose. Medium weight with lemon on the palate. Quite dry and it's hard to pick-up any of the characteristics of Chardonnay or Viognier. It's a very well made wine and drinks like wine 2-3 times it's price. Great effort.

Had this with omakase at Sushi Yuzu and it was a terrific pairing. BdB made with Voskehat and Khatouni, two indigenous grapes from Armenia. The label doesn't indicate the proportions.

Very clean nose of citrus and a bit of minerality. Light bodied on the mouth with a lovely citrus taste. Very refreshing but does not have the complexity of champagne as there doesn't appear to have a lot of aging on the lees. That said, at this price point this is a great bargain and a go to wine when you want a well made refreshing sparkler Bravo!
