big fruit with a sense of subtlety. very nice and easy to drink with very structured tannins typical of high quality Niagara wine. Love this stuff. 3 years left to grow... 5 - 10 left? Hard to say, definitely will look forward to tasting my other bottles in a couple years

Balanced with good character. Powerful. Plush and comfortable after it opens up with huge tannins and heavy tobacco / oak. Long, graceful finish. Dark berries, nice acids, more tobacco and perfect balance. Superb.

Dark colour. Heavy aromas, some fruit and generous alcohol and oak. Very pleasant ripe plum and black cherry flavours. French oak brings in vanilla and a nice long tannic finish suggests it will age well for several years. Very nice but lacks depth.

Not great, especially for a 2009. Brownish ruby color, fruit forward nose with oaky overtones. Flavours of alcohol and acid up front, lingering Fruit with acid in the finish, heavy oak and no substantial fruit flavour. Overall not well balanced, too much oak, not enough fruit, no character and very little to entice excitement.

light and floral on the nose. Garnet color, dark but opaque. Bright alcohol and fruit, solid acid with light tannins and juniper berries, cherries and an aromatic, floral finish. Very nice, easy to drink, interesting but somewhat one dimensional. Should last at least 2-3 years.

The wine looks colorless colored. The legs are fast. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like apple. It tastes like apricot, pear and lemon. The body is light. The wine has angular texture. The wine finishes short. The wine has low acidity.

Yellow gold colour. Strange overpowering scent of canned peaches or macerated prunes, almost a leeche tone. Pleasant flavour, sweet with similar tones to the nose. Very aromatic, perfumed flavour and nose. Long finish, yet one dimensional, interesting enough to drink however not something that will change your world views. Happy I tasted, but I'll save the bottle to share;)

I bought a case of these a few years ago. Every time I open a bottle it's the same thing. Almost impossible right after opening. Very very tannic with barnyard leather and tobacco. 2 hrs later the flavor has changed, softer, still tannic and tough but drinkable. Sometimes a copper or flint stone in the center of the palate. The next day, however, it's fabulous. Easy to drink, balanced, fruit tones of overripe plums and cherries, delicious!
I guess I should stop drinking my wines too young... thank goodness I have 7 left:)

Squid ink color, almost like dark granite. Highly acidic scent dominates with over ripe plum flavours. Oaky, Barny flavour, leather hide and tobacco yet still sweet with flavours reminiscent of Madeira. Somewhat young and out of balance, would be better in 5+ years.

Surprisingly opaque ruby color. Very full body. Nose seems confused, very little fruit scent with an alcoholic overtone, black berry fruit if anything. Delightful flavour with perfect balance. Dark berry flavours with a teasing tannin base followed by warming alcohol sensations which leave a lingering acid base to tempt you back for more. This wine is delightful.

Dark ruby purple, nice concentration. Lighter nose than anticipated, black berries, currants. Nice and heavy but balanced oak, tannins and the fruit in the end, with currant and over ripe black plum. Very nice flavour, I think it will stick around for several years at least. Long finish with lingering fruit and tannins, nice balance.

The very pale color reflects the free run only juices used in production, hardly even straw colored it's nose has a fresh citrus backbone with stemmy/grassy undertones. Well rounded flavour with high acidity and a lingering finish, surprisingly long considering how light the flavor is. Green Thompson grapes and apricot dominate followed by a flinty mineral finish. Very nice for the price, an easy drinking wine which leaves you room to ponder before moving on.

Dark purple, nice concentration and slow legs. Well balanced nose with bright cherry notes. Full bodied, easy oaky drinking with lots of fruit left and nice tannins. Good balance. Sweet dark berries, cherries. Dry tannins on the finish and a medium-long lingering of fruit and dry tannins. Should improve for a few years. All in all well balanced, fruity, tannic and yummy, a no brainer but not a wine that will change your life, good... but not a "great" wine.

light straw color with granny smith and apricots on the nose. buttery stone fruit flavours with a tart sensation on the back of the tongue. short finish with acidic undertones, leaves mouth feeling dry almost tannic. Not a perfect balance, the acid overrides the fruit flavours and you can't detect all that you wish you could.

Straw color, medium legs and no sediment or inclusions. On the nose, very subtle, stone fruit and yeast like a morning stroll past a bakery. Very plush mouthfeel, again stonefruit dominate with ripe peaches out front and a lingering finish which dwindles to a tart sensation at the tip of your tongue to leave you wanting more. Very well rounded and easy to drink with subtle complexity.Impressive finish, I'm going back to put 3 more in my cellar for '18-'19'-20'

A simple wine for simple tastes, not to say it isn't drinkable. I could drink a ton of this if someone forced me too!
Straw color and slow legs, a touch of floating sediment if you look for it, Tartrate residue the following morning in the glass, this wine should have been cold stabilized before bottling. The wine has tropical fruit on the nose and the mouth, melon and cantaloupe dominate alongside canned peaches with a finish on the tongue of passion fruit. Not much going on in terms of depth, its yummy and easy but very one dimensional, it finishes short and the high acidity keeps you wanted to dip your beak again. Slightly off dry. Great buy for $14, but not something for the cellar, bring it out for your friends who arent deep into wine and they'll enjoy it while you save a few bucks.

Straw colored with slow legs and no sediment. Very green aromas, bell pepper, stems, granny smith and yeasty bread. The bready yeast notes continue onto the tongue, met by white cranberry and undertones of lychee, and stony lime. high acidity balances the satin texture with a surprisingly long finish for something so refreshing.

Nothing hugely impressive but an easy and robust wine to drink if you don't want to blow the budget. Dark Garnet and nicely concentrated with fast legs and no sediment. Burnt french oak overwhelms with Vanilla flavors and floral scents have a molasses undertone. Full body and decent acid compliment dusty forest floor, prune and cherry flavours with a leathery texture follow the inescapable vanilla flavor, in my opinion the oak is on the side of heavy handed. The wine has an impressive medium long finish for something so affordable.

Crimson colored with medium legs and no sediment. Tropical fruit on the nose, cateloup as the name suggests is joined by other melon and honeysucle flavours. The flavour is very simple at first with ripe tropical fruits, again, canteloup etc however it is joined by light complexity with some stony black pepper essences, violet and ends with a butterscotch finish. Medium body and a high acid, short finish unfortunately but not unsurprisingly. The wine isn't complex or robust but it has some tannins and is easy to drink. Something to pull out with non wine drinkers, the berry flavours are easy to approach and fun, it isn't something to crack open expecting to change your life... it's just easy to drink and fun... as the price suggests.

This dark garnet colored wine has a big round flavour and is very well balanced. Slow legs and full body without sediment.
Warm sweet scents of dried fruit, raisins. Minerals and cranberries also show up on the nose. Dried fruit stands out in the mouth as well, with prunes joining the raisins. Some tannins still exist in the bottle although it is not outwardly tannic. The fruit stand out strongly in the flavour so I'm certin this wine will age well for another 5+ years. This wine is low to medium in acidity and has a medium finish.

This beautiful straw colored wine warms your mouth with it's buttery texture. It's strong aroma is tropical with cantaloupe, mango and melon flavours which are mirrored in the smooth flavour and complimented by stone fruit flavours like apricot and citrus lime notes. For a light a refreshing wine it carries surprising body and a long finish.
