White
2013 Ken Wright Chardonnay Celilo Vineyard Columbia Gorge
Wine for Passover 5780 -- Not Kosher/Meshuval, but better than Morgan Davis, and selected for appropriateness since the virtual Seder was hosted from the Columbia Gorge. Pretty brilliant straw color. Slightly hot nose, with baking spices and fresh apple muted by dishwater. Lemony attack with a glycerin mouthfeel, and slight petrol fueling the saliva-induction engines. Broad, tongue coating, and long, but in the end, pleasant and refreshing more than cerebral. Serviceable.

White
2007 Quinta da Muradella Monterrei Gorvia White Blend
At George Martin, an interesting hybrid Galician. The obvious oxidation note suggests LdH Gravonia but the fruit remains strong and acidic like Godello or Albarino. Maybe a bit past prime but enjoyable (though not complex) with grilled sea bass and shrimp.

1/24/18, 5:20 PM - Having one tonight. Ditto the review. Not sure why "hybrid Galician" for this 100% Dona Blanca(?) Oxidation has move to the background for me, but I find good body and lifting acidity, where before (last time) I found it somewhat flatter. Nutty and vibrant, but fully mature.
