Wonderful golden color. Dry at first and more sweet as it opened up. Wonderful with Christmas ham.

Beautiful mature 2000. Needed about 30 minutes to open up, especially one of the bottles where the cork was dry. Did not decant.

Wonderful surprise, found deep in the cellar. Nice mature Pomerol with tobacco accents. Cork was dry and cracked on removal. Certainly not over the hill but we had no comparison notes to compare.

In a wonderful spot right now. Loads of red and black fruits with great finish. Tannins still present. I think it still has some time.

Cork was in pristine condition. Let stand in the bottle for about 90 minutes. Drinking well now and probably will not get better?

Cork was pristine and sediment was negligible. We've only owned this for the last 10 years so we were a little concerned about prior storage. Decanted and immediately put back in bottle with cork after a small taste which was surprisingly on the light side and fruity with no tannins. Poured it about 4 hours later, and after an initial funky taste, it became a powerful and full glass of wine. No trace of tannins, but big powerful black fruits. This was part of a 10 bottle Italian tasting across all different varietals. It tasted much different than all the other Nebbiolo of the night and to me tasted most like the 2010 Amarone we drank but obviously not as heavy(go figure!). I'd say drink this now and decant for 30 minutes before, no longer.

Decanted 1 hour. Cork was in great shape and this was stored since release. Wonderful black and red fruits. Tasted a little like a Napa Mountain cab. Not sure it will get better from here.

Last of the vintage for us. Went well with Christmas ham. Drinking very well but feels like it may have more time in it? I lost notes from prior tastings. Lots of sediment, so decant (but not for too long).

Wonderful! Wine fill was well into the neck still. The cork split, so we decanted and drank after 15 minutes. Tannins have faded completely but the red fruit is still prevalent. Perfect window right now IMO.

Best to drink now IMO. No decant, we just left it open for 30 minutes based on other reviews. Still some nice dark fruits but by no means deep like a typical Napa cab. Enjoyable still for sure. Cork was a little dry and storage history mostly unknown in its early years.

Last Two bottles. Decanted both and they were very similar out of the bottle. We drank the first one and it was lovely after about 60 minutes in the decanter. The second faded fast. So I'd say decant for 30 and drink up. One of the 2 (I forgot which one) had a very dry cork?

We usually like the Estate, but this was just OK. Drank with lots of other Pinot's over a few weeks and this was sadly just average.

Still drinking well. A little musty on the open but it opened up in about 20 minutes and is a very good and mature CDP. I'd suggest no decanting, just a few swirls in the glass. Cork was in great shape.

Wow, amazing bottle. Togni has long been our favorite cab, but it ages so well we have not opened one in a while and the 99, based on reviews here, is the one to open now. Pop and pour with filet mignon and roasted baby potatoes. Excellent and certainly has some time left.

Drinkable, but nothing to it. No complexity. Very light. It's got enough to tell it's Oregon, but not enough to really enjoy.

Last 2 of a bunch bought at release. We opened and let breathe in the bottle for about 30 minutes and I do think this could have easily stood up to decanting. Wonderful CDP, still seemingly having lots of time where from memory the '98 has faded. Dark black fruits, nice long and still tannic finish.

It's a NZ Sauvignon Blanc, so of course it's drinkable and better than most CA SB's, but nothing special about this one. Try others is my recomendation.

This was a magnum bought on release and as expected it did not age as fast as the 750 bottles that many (including us) have reviewed as being a little "over the hill". Plenty of dark fruit still prevalent. To be safe, we did not decant per prior notes, but we probably could have. Excellent bottle.

Wonderful wine. We normally go with a big label for Thanksgiving, but based on community reviews we popped one of these mid morning. After a few hours opened, the wine really opened up. Wonderful red and black fruits, with smoothed out tannins. Not sure if it will get better so drink now. We bought this on release and cellared since.

Opened the last two for Easter dinner - grilled NZ lambchops. The first opened immediately. On this one the cork was half red. The second bottle was a bit funky on the first pour and the red barely penetrated the cork. After a couple of hours, the wines tasted the same. And they were excellent! Drink now - we do not see age improving these any further.

A nice surprise given the last one of these we drank was in 2010 and it did not perform well. That bottle was up against a better '98 CDP so maybe it was not fair for this very well priced CDP which I think we bought for well under $20 upon release. This was a bit funky out of the bottle, but it improved greatly in the first 30 minutes. Was actually good on the third night as well. Nothing overly complex, but still some nice fruit left. Time to drink it up.
