Very acidic with limited fruit and medium tannin. Very disappointing on the fruit scale. I don’t think age will help the dearth of fruit, but it may come into better balance. This was totally overpriced for what it is.

10 years after Riesling tasting - 2012 - Part II (Concept Riesling, Düsseldorf): Glass: Gabriel Standard
Popped and poured. Clear, youthful pale golden color. Perfect bottle. Chablis like structure, tension and minerality. Wonderful energy and texture that was simply awesome! Hadn’t had this wine for a while and it seems it slowly develops into one of the greatest wines of this vintage! It combined the precision, tension and energy of the Schlossberg, the Morstein and the Rothenberg and was for me my personal WOTN! 95-96+
