Consistent with previous note; simply amazing wine. Unbelievable freshness to the fruit and such purity. Thirteen years old and like drinking freshly squeesed fruit with amazing complexity brought by mother earth.

If you tried and loved wine from etna, try this and be surprised by the “vulcanic” minerality and depth in this top wine from underappreciated cru beaujolais.

No hurry at all, no Signes of aging except added complexity.

A really delicate wine, very well balanced. Concentrated yet light and elegant, not least due to its amazing acidity. Good complexity - and the taste is simply great, with much garrigue, as pointed out by GDA202. A real treat at this point. 91-92

Some minerality, but a bit past its prime. Obvious oak, okay acidity. The purity and some good mineral notes makes this an enjoyable acquaintance. Probably was 87-88 a year ago.

To me this is right up there at 93-94+ points, but, I admit; this is my favourite style of wine. Really amazing minerality and such smooth perfectly tamed, and abundant, tannin; this will keep for many many years.
At this point it is simply delicious with strawberry compot dominating and combining brilliantly with the unusual almost etna/volcano minerality, which makes it highly unusual and a very good buy at any price up to 30€. So get it before prices go up, im sure they will for cru beaujolais in the near future.

Quite fantastic exuberant flowery tropical nose. Very fresh in mouth with super elegant and high acidity, with some mineral. Tasty, and at this point actually more complex than its one-variety albarino sibling from the same producer. It is, however, the high acidity and freshness which will make this wine an absolute favourite this summer. Not sure how this will evolve, but great right now! Has similarities with Muscadet from Loire.

This is a very fruitdominated style of wine. About purity and freshness and nonintervention, as it says on label and which is very recognisable when tasted. It is pure and has good quality taanins, lovely tannins in fact. No grapes mentioned on label. Earthy smoky elements suggests mouvedre(?). Suprisingly good for the price.

Consistent with previous tastings/note, except that it has opened up a bit. And a distnict minty note and that it has such quality tannin, simply great.
Better than the most of the high level wines from the same producer. Very enjoyable now due to its freshness and the mild bite from the tannin, will be hard to save bottles for later although it certainly has the potential. 92-93

The light beautiful structure of this pinot/gamay-like wine does not work with the high 14,7% alcohol. Otherwise beatiful and lovely wine which is similar but less balanced than other old vines high altitude grenache bottlings from good producers in Spain. Smells like good strawberry-dominated, lightly oaked beaujolais cru but the alcohol takes it out of balance. RP 90

Very good minerality and outstanding purity and acidity, with tertiary notes of cheese and sour feet. Not a typical nz sauvignon blanc, would have guessed high acidity pinot blanc from Gernany or Alsace in blind test. Outstanding purity and racersharp acidity. For purists..

Good balance and very drinkable. Typical for variety and NZ terroir in nose, with a toasted element too. Good depth in fruit and lovely acidity and a decent minerality too in mouth. Again it has notes very typical for variety, but the wine has greater purity and balance and finishiing citrus-acid bite than its competitors strive for at this entry level. I have had Poully Fume wines lately at more than the double price which gave only slightly more pleasure. 89

Animal and forest floor, and oak-woody, nose. Borderline sweet and the fruit is a bit ‘tired’, BUT, the tertiary notes are well developed and the wine has good complexity. More acidity would have done miracles. Drink now. 87-88

This is the kind of wine-experience that makes a wine cellar truly make sense. Simply amazing. Such juicy freshness to the fruit, amazing acidity. Great complexity including light chocolate, freshly crushed coffe beans, clove.. and tons of cherry/red fruit in both nose and mouth underneath the dominant expression of garrique, garrique, garrique.
Still plenty of lovely soft tannin and surely no rush as the acidity will keep this well and evolving for many years. Meditative wine. 94/95

A disappointment. Not much fruit -a bit watery - no spices and only hints of grassy notes. Mineral finish though. It may develop over time, and it is clean and pure, but it is not distinctive and I could never have guessed its origins, thus lacking what it should have at this pricepoint and with its label.

True excellence at this late stage for a village grauburgunder wine - from outstanding producer without question. Intensely mineral and borderline overmature but with such beautiful acidity, and still much lovely fruit, to balance it. Not going to mention the few euros i spent for this around 8 years ago. Recommend seeking out these wines, which are worth cellaring even if they have seen little if any oak. That said this wont improve from here. Last bottle but definitely the best.

Unusual. Other descriptions below capture this wine’s special festures well. Definitely different, and interesting. A wild “warm” primitivo-festures-like nebbiolo.. with very intense tart and licorise. Relatively high on alcohol, and very fatty with very drying lasting bitter tannin. Weird experience. Much good to say about burlotto but cant recommend this.

Transparent red. Nose; Sweet strawberry jam, fresh red berries and deeply mineral. Taste as nose with lingering soft tannin that together with the minerality reveals the wine’s true depth and potential. High drinkability and very pleasurable yet serious. Very far from any other fleurie i have tasted in the sense of having lenghts more of depth and fleshyness without loosing the immediate accessability and freshness. 92-94, -2026

Waw. Everthing in terms of nose and taste is quite classic bourgogne-chardonnay. It is the balance and purity to the fruit that makes this stand out. Freshness, vibrant acidity complemented by slight slight sweetness creates perfect balance. Have read a lot about this cooperative’s wines, this entry level wine surely does not disappoint. Cant rate this less than 90 even if it isnt overly mineral. 90+ this can last and develop many years.

Really good and by far the best basic CC from capraia Ii have tasted. Zesty, dark cherry-fruity, some spices and very mineral, medium+ body now, will ubdoubtedly increase in intensity with time. Very elegant with typical heavy sangiovese acidity plus a licorise finish with a touch of oil to balance it.
This will be amazing in 5-8 years. Needs serious decanting at this point to show its true depth and qualities - I will(try to) wait at least 4 years before i open the next, and look for more in the meantime. 91-94. JS 92

Very good effort. Excellent balance and well matured, drinking perfect now but with at least 3-4 years ahead. Soft tannin and juicy fresh fruit, excellent herbal minerality and integrated but tastable oak. Yum on the terrasse slightly cooled.
Appears with many similar features to spatburgunder, would have guessed Gernany. You have to look really good to find compatible pinot noir in Burgundy at this price point. Pure pleasure. 91-92+

A bit of a weird experience and hard to rate. Probably has passed its best day. Evolves a lot with time in the glass, increases in depth. Overall much and fresh pleasant acidity which makes it hard to believe that this is a 14 year old barossa wine. Good complexity but the acidity is too much and overpowering the fruit and depth. Still, good wine but not quite the experience Parker promised many years ago. 92-93, RP 94-96

Really good but very different compared to the 2016, which I prefer for its outstanding freshness. This 2017 is more spicy matured riesling like, overtly and profoundly mineral. More yellow and warmer in the fruit and ,5 pct higher in alcohol (13%). Ready to drink and probably should be drunk young. Enjoyable, with very pleasing but not much acidity. Good value.

Very Young. Purple hues and very dark red, bordering black. Complex nose with mixed red fruit, earth, spice, licorise, and new oak. Full bodied Syrah dominated taste plus tasty oak. Long aftertaste. This has potential. Good purity of fruit for sure and much tannin and acids. At this point the tannin is somewhat austere, I would leave it for 3-4 years. Good wine but overpriced, I still have not found a well-priced Faugeres, which seems a bit overhyped. 88+

Hard to rate this wine. It is definitely not very well balanced, with high unpleasent acidity and some equally unpleasent sour fruit. BUT, the unusual nose and taste and the complexity of the wine is very high level. Long complex aftertaste. If you like unusual wines you have to try this and other casteluccio wines; they are not quite tuscany but close to and all their own. Still years ahead, this is a true wine-freak type of wine.

Guigal has, unsurprisingly, managed 2015 well with the result of a very balanced wine with - for the vintage - tamed tannin, relatively low alcohol and a balanced taste without heat and jammy features. Nice Syrah features for sure and will improve considerably with ageing. I still have a few 2007s in the cellar which have aged beautifully and which I guard with care. 89-91
