Wow, this is a wonderful wine. I knew right away I was in for a treat when the pour was very dark and seemingly very concentrated. The wine finishes long in the mouth (a sign of good wine for me) with flavors of anise, black licorice, and even black pepper. This is a very distinctive profile and very good. This wine is not showing age and should drink well for some time to come.

Wow!! This wine was perfectly integrated and singing on all notes from the get go. Dark in color, sediment settled on the bottle's shoulder, and wonderful flavors of black licorice that lasted on the palate a long time make this wine close to perfection.

The tannins here were very prominent. I decanted for two hours, but I have some doubts whether the tannins will resolve. I generally enjoyed the wine but will not purchase more to cellar. Red fruits and licorice are what came through under the tannins.

Tonight this wine was ripe and fruit forward. It had wonderful mouth feel. There were notes of chocolate, coffee, and some dark berries. It is still relatively young, but the tannins were well integrated. As with all great wines, the last taste was the best, and had me longing for more.

Textbook Bordeaux nose of lead pencil, tobacco, black berries. Tannins were fully intergrated on this mature, well-balanced wine. Taste of cedar, lead pencil, black currant and blackberry. Absolutely tremendous wine!

Full bodied, ripe, with tannins fully integrated. Red berries (e.g., cherry) on the pallet followed by licorice, tar, tobacco with glycerin. Just lovely tonight!

Opened with violet floral notes and then full of dark berries. Tannins are fully integrated. This wine had a long finish.

Let the bottle decant for two hours and it really benefited from the additional air. The wine really opened up over the night and is a really great Dominus. It is full bodied with well integrated tannins and a long, full finish.

This wine was beautiful last night... full-bodied with boatloads of glycerin and well-intergrated tannins. Black cherry red fruits with black licorice notes. Wonderful!
