This wine is quite legendary being very difficult to get hold of. It's dark and very broody. Tannis and acidity quite pronounced. Red fruit and gravelly with graphite. Minimal fruit though with the earthy road base taking front and centre.

This is my second Sami ODI and I'm yet to be convinced. Might be better on day 2. Tastes very similar to a McLaren Vale Noon Cabernet.

Let's see what Day 2 brings.

This wine came with high expectations based on exceptional reviews. Must admit I was very underwhelmed. 4 hours of decanting and it left.me .wamting. Light and not much substance or body..A real hole in the palate and nothing special. Quite disappointed. I paid $140 for this and money not well spent. Just don't get the hype.

But the joys of drinking wine.........as the enjoyment and experience is always different for each individual. Cheers to you.
