This wine is def better than the last time I had it and benefitted from being open for an hr or so as well. Beautiful deep colour and a wonderful nose of mid-range red fruit. SO smooth on the palate and a decent length on finish

this was an amazing experience. This was the oldest Burgundy I have ever had and it was VERY good. The nose was surprisingly big and powerful but the wine was more delicate on the palate. Really hit its window after approx 30mins of being open

Nice begight now is flowers and cherries. Extremely tight and didn’t give up much the first night. Decently better the next night but still not as good as I thought it should have been.

Wow! This wine was amazing I forgot how great aged Barolo can be. It was deep & dark in colour with a huge nose of dark fruit & cocoa. No browning on the edges at all. It was super silky on the palate although the finish was a bit short, I am a huge fan.

A very nice example of Volnay. It definitely needed some air. I drank the 2nd half of the bottle the next day and it was more integrated and smooth than when I first opened it.
