Light crimson in color. 14.1% ABV. Breathtaking nose of red fruits, cloves, baking spices and forest floor. Medium to full bodied with bright acidity. Opulent and plush. Strawberries, cherry cola and mushrooms on the palate. Exceptional length on the finish. Really delicious and not to far afield of the Kosta Browne Sonoma Coast appellation wine. Best over the next 2-3 years.

3/23/19, 8:25 AM - The reference to Kosta Browne makes perfect sense, considering who the winemaker is.

3/26/19, 8:33 AM - Correct. He makes AldenAlli, Shane, and a few other brands in Santa Rosa in the Coffey Park area.

Dinner with Jane and Mitch at Iron Skillet on the north fork of Long Island wine country. Popped, then waited 60 minutes to drink. A little tang, that would fade. Smooth, but I didn't think this wine was anything special. One of the few times (if ever) I've been disappointed with a Quivet. We had half a bottle left.

Complex, with blue, red, and black fruits. There was even some eucalyptus on the nose. An incredibly complex wine. Can't wait for the 2014!!!

11/24/18, 11:19 AM - I've only had the 2013, the inaugural vintage of the reboot. We did barrel taste the 2015 and 2016 last year. They tasted real good to us.

This was the 2nd of our two bottles. We enjoyed this wine with a steak dinner after a 2 1/2 hour decant. Nice Syrah with a citrus bite, mineral flavor and strong fruit.

past its prime, lifeless

Dissappointing... nowhere near previous bottles... bummer.

2/1/18, 9:07 AM - I suspect an off bottle. We had another 2 months later and it was fine. So far, 4 out of 5 have been excellent.

In a great place right now. No signs of going downhill any time soon.

12/1/16, 6:50 AM - Unfortunately, no Anthill Farms yet. I almost pulled the trigger on a couple of bottles at WineBid.com, but decided to hold off for now. I've got a LOT of pinot noir in the cellar.

3/30/15, 3:24 AM - The wine was excellent. I was indeed talking about the business.

Nice nose. Strong tannins. Very chewy. May need more time in bottle

4/15/14, 6:41 AM - I suspect this was opened WAY too early. I'm still holding my 2008s.
