A nice sauvignon blanc, but I struggle to rationalise the price.

Delicious, and as others have commented I would also say this is the best vintage of the Chardonnay I have tasted.

An onslaught of alcohol, for me overwhelming the pleasant black fruit underneath.

Very closed until 3-4h in the decanter, but eventually came together. Warm spice on the nose, hint of blackjacks. Red fruit on the palate with nice acidity and a good heat on the finish.

Very tasty in the end, and great quality for the price. Just needs plenty of air.

Very tasty straight from the bottle. Rich, full bodied, perfectly in balance.

Blend of Xarel-lo (85%), Malvasia (10%) and Muscat (5%). Very mineral, hints of white peach, chalk. Lovely wine to pair with a wide range of foods.

This wine won't blow you away but it'll disappear from your glass in very short order.

Big wine, but well balanced. Blackcurrant, cherry and spice. Delicious now, but I think will improve.

Great expression of assyrtiko. Like a beautiful lemon tart.

Nothing wrong with this per se but nothing particularly exciting about it either.

Unlike previous bottle, the second was very disappointing. Dull and lifeless even after many hours in decanter.

Gorgeous - a perfectly balanced blend of black fruit, tobacco, leather, hint of clove (?), oak, and silky smooth integrated tannins. Big wine, but so fresh that it doesn't feel heavy going at all.

Rich, but quite fresh as well with a nice mineral backbone. Lovely accompaniment to prawn linguine.

An enigmatic wine in many respects, but delicious. Got better and better over the course of the evening.

On its own this was fantastic, but alongside a Risotto Milanese it was truly outstanding.

Needed 15-20 mins to open up.

Perfect condition. Superb wine - terrific balance of fruit, minerality, acidity. Very long finish.

This will definitely keep, but drinking beautifully now.

Took a day to open up.

Dried fruit (mango, banana, apricot), raisin, marmalade and brown sugar. Hint of caraway on the nose. Wonderful intensity and long finish. Slightly sherry like quality from the ageing.

Very nice, though enjoyed it a lot more by itself than with dessert.

I love Tessa and Jeremy's wines, and this is no exception. Crisp, precise Chardonnay with minimal intervention. Lovely.

Perfection. Lemon zest, pineapple, hint of mandarin, gorgeous minerality... Still feels young. Would love to try again in a couple of years.

Disappointing. Much in line with Volleyball's note, it improves after some time in the glass, but I found the end result still lacking in body and depth.

Edit: left a glass on the side, and after 2 hours the transformation is remarkable. A thin, unappealing wine has become a deep, complex one with notes of honey, lime zest, and a hint of aniseed. Maybe was a touch too cold to start with? Stoppered the rest to try tomorrow.

This is really tasty. Fruit forward on the nose and on the palette. Structure is bold but not heavy, very fine tannins with a lingering acidity on the finish.

Very nice indeed.

Incredible nose. Impressive body, initial impact is sweeter than I was expecting with hints of lime. The sweetness gives way to a long dry finish with lemon barley and slate minerality.

As I often find with German Riesling, even "dry" wines can be sweeter than I prefer, as is the case here. Nonetheless this is a high quality wine which was a pleasure to drink.

Needed a good 3 hours to breathe. Disjointed at first, but relaxed into a mellow, integrated, silky glass. Blueberries with a hint of spice.

An hour after decant, very disjointed. But after 3-4 hours rounded out beautifully into an elegant, harmonious wine, and still surprisingly youthful given the chance to breath. Will keep.

Have on occasion been disappointed by Dagueneau wines, but this one certainly did not. Nose is like driving through farm country on a summer's day - grass and livestock, with a hint of lemon peel. Palate is gorgeously rich, lime, pineapple, with a sumptuous backbone of acidity running through it to a wonderfully long finish. Lime peel and a hint of green apple leaving you craving the next sip.

This wine is the reason Dagueneau commands such a reputation. Wish I had more of it!

Opened 3 hours before drinking. Beautiful, not showing its age at all. Blackcurrant / liquorice / star anise, maybe a hint of fennel seed. Fine tannins. Wouldn't call it easy going but also deceptive for 14% ABV.
