Some nice funk in the aroma with a hint of licorice and leather. Good dark berry flavors and cedar spice. A masculine wine to be enjoyed with hearty winter fare.

Lots of cooked/dried dark berry fruit flavors. It's almost like liquid raisins with cedar spice. Not graceful, but it is dense with rich fruit and spice. This is a simple Zinfandel to be enjoyed for around $10.

Clean fruit and vanilla aromas, maybe even some butter popcorn in there. Big fruit and spice flavor. It's a nice drink for around $10.

Lots of funk in the aroma, including roasted corn, over-ripe pineapple, and funky cheese. The flavors are very focused and crisp, with good acidity. If you're looking for out of the ordinary American Chardonnay, try this one out.

A fantastic Cotes du Rhone. Richly layered with fruit and spice. Ready to drink with beef stew.

Dark purple color with tangy aroma and flavor in the first few sips. Eventually opened up to reveal some licorice in the aroma and nice cranberry and spice flavors. A good sipping wine and a nice introduction to Chambourcin.

Nice grapey flavor with strong peppery spice finish. Good with food, but is enjoyable to be sipped by itself.

Had nice old leather and fruit aromas, but very soft and short on flavor. This is a good wine that has peaked and is fading gracefully. Drink soon.

Dry, toasty aromas with lightly fragrant fruit. Subtle lemon flavor with some toastiness. A little flowery. Nice and dry. A perfect Prosecco to serve as an apertif.

Clean citrus aromas. Some herbal and mineral flavors with light grapefruit. A bit too light, but still drinkable.

Nice straw color with a hint of green. A little toasty with some creamy fruit flavors. Not much depth or complexity, but still a nice drink.

Dark, purplish black color. Nice dark fruit aromas. I can really taste the skins of the fruit. It needs more fleshy fruit flavors to balance the skin flavors. Hints at some complexity with additional aromas and flavors of leather, spice, and a touch of dark earth. A solid Petite Sirah for the price.

An inexpensive and tasty summer sipper. Fruit and floral aromas with lots of crisp, juicy citrus fruit flavors.

Fruit flavors with a good dose of warm spice and alcohol. More sugary sweet than fruit sweet. An average Pinot Grigio from Italy. Drinkable, but not very interesting.

Citrus aromas (grapefruit and lime) with some underlying green pepper. Smells juicy but the citrus flavors fall flat on the tongue. Tastes like dull fruit with green pepper spice. It might have had more fruit flavor within the first year of its release. There are better Sauvignon Blancs from Chile at the same price level.

Starts out with nice apple fruit aromas. First taste came across flat and overly warm with alcohol. Not much depth of fruit flavor. Reminds me more of a warm climate Chardonnay than a cool climate Chardonnay. There is not enough flavor and balance to make you want to keep drinking.

Started out promising with plum spice and wild game aromas. Initial taste was flat and the aromas faded in the glass within five minutes. I really enjoyed tasting this wine at the winery in 2006, but it has lost the character I remember. I should have opened it much earlier. Like other tasters, I recommend drinking this wine in the immediate future.

Nice fresh fruit aromas. Apple and tropical fruit flavors with some clove and nutmeg spice on the finish. Straightforward and simple. A good value Chardonnay from Washington.
