Kept getting better. Best sip was last sip after 6 hours of air.

Had to crack one early and it did not disappoint. Was very approachable after 4 hours of air with incredible balance and very much in Will’s style. I think these will continue to get better over the next 5+ years but if you have a few no reason not to try one soon. William and Mary is always the easiest buy decision for me every year and would recommend getting on the list now!

Wow! Found this buried in the back of wine store and glad I pulled trigger. This was a quite a magical experience. It clearly has a long life ahead of it but I wouldn’t be shy about trying one now (in bottle 3 hour decant). Deep, dark fruit with some tertiary notes to balance. Full mouth feel, complex and structured.

Beautiful wine. Elegant and refined. I agree that this will certainly get better but I see no reason not to have one now. I loved it with a 4.5 hour splash decant.

Based on recent reviews I had to give this a try. Decanted 5 hours and then back in the bottle to take to dinner. This was sensational with room to improve somehow. Much more fruit than I remember on the 2018 I had recently in the barn but still very complex with secondary notes starting to poke their head out. This is a wine to go deep on and watch it evolve.

Napa - All my COVID finds; 4/29/2021-5/5/2021 (Napa): Great representation of Mt. Veeder. I think what i notice most about Pott Wines is how distinctly different the wines are depending on vintage and place. I know a lot of people say that but really shows in these wines.

Napa - All my COVID finds; 4/29/2021-5/5/2021 (Napa): Probably my favorite of the Pott lineup but definitely partial to right bank blends. I would put this right up there with the William and Mary prop red and the Arrow and Branch RBB but with more minerality and a little less oak.

Napa - All my COVID finds; 4/29/2021-5/5/2021 (Napa): Not much to add that hasn't been said in other notes. I definitely second the dark cherry/plum notes mixed with scorched earth on the mid palate. I found this wine really fun to drink.

Napa - All my COVID finds; 4/29/2021-5/5/2021 (Napa): This blew me away. I fully expect this to be triple digits in no time. Unbelievably complex and layered. Mouth coating soft tannin followed by dark chocolate (the slightly bitter kind, not sweet) covered dark fruit and almost spicy on the finish (I'm not sure if that is a thing but it was with this). Maybe some leather notes after that? I'm not sure. There was so much going on here. I could not get enough.

Napa - All my COVID finds; 4/29/2021-5/5/2021 (Napa): The 2018 was a beautiful representation of Rutherford with impeccable balance and minerality in the mid palate. Like a lot of 2018's, it certainly needs some time to add depth.

Napa - All my COVID finds; 4/29/2021-5/5/2021 (Napa): Something good came out of 2020! I am not a rose fan at all but I enjoyed this one, and at $25, its a no brainer if you are going to purchase rose. It has some sweetness but certainly not a sweet rose, but has more depth than I am used to in my normal poolside pounder.

Napa - All my COVID finds; 4/29/2021-5/5/2021 (Napa): Was really interesting to see what a few years of age does to the wine. Everything was slightly toned down but perfectly integrated. Depending on my mood I could go either way between the current vintage (2018) and this.

Napa - All my COVID finds; 4/29/2021-5/5/2021 (Napa): A great chard. I am slowly learning that I might not be the biggest fan of chardonnay, but I really enjoyed this. Very bright up front but has a slightly creamy, almost creme brulee finish that I loved.

Napa - All my COVID finds; 4/29/2021-5/5/2021 (Napa): A special bottle of wine. A very slight step up on the other 2 2018s we tried with more subtle fruit moving seamlessly into complex secondary notes. There is some tannin structure on this wine and can certainly improve with a few years of age.

Napa - All my COVID finds; 4/29/2021-5/5/2021 (Napa): A touch brighter than the Estate pinot but still has all the same complexity. Was happily surprised as the Golden Mean hasn't always been my favorite of the Wayfarer lineup.

Napa - All my COVID finds; 4/29/2021-5/5/2021 (Napa): Off the charts aromatics with plenty of acidity and tension to age. Depending on how many you have, I wouldn’t touch this one for a while. Score represents the wine today but this has plenty of upside.

The balance is incredible, maintaining a great but not overwhelming fruit profile with minerality in the mid palate and a long finish. One of the best wines of the trip.

A lot of good elements but a little out of sorts right now. Found it’s identity on day 2. Red fruit with a full mid palate and deep finish. I would give this one a little more time in the cellar.

So good. Agree with many that the 18s are hard to judge (some ready to drink and some need time), but this one is ready to go. Dark fruit, soft tannin and a finish that seems to last forever. This is the best Myriad I’ve had to date.

Oh boy was this good. Universal favorite against strong competition over the weekend. I know it’s young but this wine seems to be in perfect balance and already showing significant complexity. I’m sure it is going to continue getting better but is truly a great wine already.

Amazing upon opening the bottle. Deep fruit and earthy flavors, elegant and complex. Splash decanted it for 3-4 hours but it definitely didn’t need that much time. It was amazing with dinner but lost some of the complexity it had in the beginning. I think an hour of air would have been plenty.

Saved a little bit for day 2 and it was still great. The finish lasted forever. My mouth felt like it does after an awesome piece of dark chocolate. All in all, it totally lived up to the hype and was a great bottle of wine.
