4/23/23, 10:36 PM - I wiuld typically hold the grand vin for 15-20 years….
5/25/22, 10:56 PM - Me neither, I bought the bottle in a lot of 6 2004 Barolos from all different producers.
3/8/22, 4:41 AM - Very interesting! Many thanks for sharing.
2/8/22, 11:26 AM - Agree, this is great stuff!!
1/10/22, 10:02 AM - Bordeaux like Giscours you need to keep at least 10, but better 15 years…. Maybe wanna try some earlier accessible wines like a Brunello….
1/10/22, 10:04 AM - Or try a Pomerol. Normally also earlier accessible….
10/6/21, 8:17 AM - Some Bordeaux, especially the Pomerol’s, also drink very nicely when they are young. Had a Clos du Clocher 2010 recently, which was incredible. This 2003 is a class less, but still very nice to drink. Cheers!
6/26/21, 11:27 PM - Thank you!
12/25/20, 11:53 PM - Hi! In my view the Côte-Rôties og 09 (and 10) are not yet ready. They are very tight and monotonous as you say. Keep them until 2024 at least. 15 years of ageing should fo the job.
6/5/20, 6:49 PM - Hi! We didn’t decant, just opened the bottle at 18:00 and drank it over the evening. The wine maybe needed 5 minutes to open up.
6/6/20, 11:46 PM - I like him very much too. Need to visit him for his 17 and 18 wines btw... in case of doubt he gives drinking advice on his website, under “la degustation”. He also says, that the 12 can be drunk very well. The 11 needs a 2-3 hour decant and the 13 should be kept.
5/14/20, 11:56 AM - Cheers! Thanks for the compliment!
5/31/19, 10:40 PM - 2025?
